I have few questions regarding Easter eggs. How low I need to be to spot them, and do my kerbonaut has more chance to spot them if he is EVA on ship's ladder? I have one old saved game and I've only managed to found one at Mun. [spoiler AHEAD] It was near something really big and i "scored goal" if you know what i mean! Now I'm trying to find it in new game. I made some test with old save, and managed to get ~20k high and realized that above that object is seen like other terrain. And is there a smaller chance to spot them if graphic settings are low?

Assuming they're above ground, you can see them from quite far away if you know where to look. Here's a pic from when I first spotted the Armstrong Monument in a recent challenge. EVA or in-ship shouldn't matter, though I suppose technically IVA with zoom may be easier to spot but harder to aim.

No clue on the graphic settings, I always have them up high.

It's a build-in feature. The VAB/SPH light flicker on a regular basis. No bug.
