What does the community think of my light frigate,

Halo was inspiration all though i did this without pics.

This is not a full fledged frigate as it only has one barrel.

its still incomplete as it only has 2 missiles but more weapons are to be added.

part count atm is 176 and with all weapons it will be no more than 250.

The design could be cleaned up a bit. Make sure panels and wings are placed precisely. I see a few out of line.

I like the fact that its small and compact. Will it have room for crew? Could be an unmanned drone.

This may sound silly, but have you tried putting jet engines on it? You could make the first SSTO frigate!

Well at 60 parts my laptop lags and this is now 209 it has room for three crew and the panels out of line are to give it a kind of texture plus it makes it less op by giving weak spots

Ooo haha that sounds like a challenge i would be good at, give me 3 days, SSTO frigate, that sounds gnarly.

Funny you should say that...

Although since I built this before reaction wheels were a thing (you can see I tried to get the effect with probe cores stacked), and I didn't yet understand fuel flow rules, it ws never capable of transitioning to space properly. I did get it high, though, and I may revisit at some point.

I like this frigate, though i wonder about its structural strengh, maybe you could add some 80m/s crash resistance parts, in the center and cable it a bit.

Something like the modular girder segment XL, Just to give it a proper robust frigate feel while you spin it in space

It looks a bit like space engineers crafts, nice.

Tried firing it yet? The SRB exhaust is likely to do unfriendly things to the launch tube.
