Good looking mod, for a second though, I thought (hoped) it was something like Mechjeb's smart A.S.S. but without the autopilot

Does it have built in Kerbal Engineer and Mechjeb support or do we have to mod the config files for that?

Also, it would be nice to have it a little smaller. I know lots of people like the parts bigger so they can grab them easily in the VAB, but I prefer them smaller.

I haven't included MechJeb or Kerbal engineer, I have a MM file that puts Mechjeb in all command units.

It's just control, no A.S.S. no MJ, no KE, and no reaction wheel.

I've updated it on Kerbal stuff to half the size, it looked to big to me too!

I just looked at the kal9000.zip from kerbalstuff.com, and it is totally missing the part in the GameData/NAU/Parts directory.

I do see it when I look at the zip file from Dropbox

Sure, just my humble homage to one of the greatest movies ever, that got me dreaming with rockets and space far before KSP! I was building rockets out of fertilizer mix and cardboard since I was 8, most of the times resulting in "rapid unplanned dis-assemblies" and some scorched eyebrows.

If you like, i could add it to CKAN for you. It's a simple mod, all I would need to do is write a .netkan file and upload it.
