So, its finally in a goodish enough state to post.

I present my replication of the Boeing CST-100 Spacecraft

As you can see, very unfinished, especially the textures; however, a preliminary download is below.

For those willing to help me, I could use a good texturing tutorial that starts with UV mapping.

That said, KSP is anything but poly-limited. So don't be scared of reasonable facecounts.

...When it's justified. 9000 on a cylindrical part is not. I can see some bits sticking out so remember to intersect your meshes where appropriate instead of performing boolean operations or extruding.

Modelling noob here: what's the difference between intersecting meshes and using a boolean function to combine them? When is it appropriate to do one or the other?

I'm currently remodelling the whole pod, and it looks much better to me now. I just can't figure out how to make my textures look half-decent. The Pod remodel will come with a (basic (for now)) IVA. Wondering about the blue emissives inside the pod.
