I'll try to be as polite as possible. No one cares (not a mean tone, more of a fact) about what your opinions on mud are. That means that if you said nothing, we would be quiet in turn. It is only when you bring stuff like this up that we do not have a pleasant reaction.

Bribing us by participating in a thread is not going to go down well either, I believe. I find it borderline trolling.

And on top of all that, this is a Kerbal Space Program forum, not a mud forum. 'Tis just a teensy bit odd.

I know it's a KSP forum. But this is the Space Lounge, for non-KSP stuff! Also, the main reason for the mud stuff is to be funny. Even I didn't expect the mud content to get this far.

I don't think you get what "scaling down" means, MrMuddyBoots. Your avatar, user title, signature, and user name deliver mud to every post you make (though you're probably stuck with the username now). Of your last 20 posts, 13 contain the word "mud" or "boots".

Nobody is saying that you can't talk about mud at all, just limit it to threads about mud, please. Your Muddy Boot picture war is a good place to talk about mud, and users who find your mud thing amusing can go there to enjoy the muddy fun. If someone else starts a thread about mud, it would be appropriate there, too. Just keep it out of non-mud threads and I think everyone will be happy.

How about this. Learn texturing, and make some muddy textures for some of the mods where appropriate. Make them nice though. If you're truly into this you'll put effort into it.
