Project Arctic Film- Be Part Of Something Great

Also Wix has a mobile editor, so that's another thing. But yeah! I would love some input, some ideas, yada yada yada.:D

Responsive design with Bootstrap is along the lines of "One design, many formats" and if you load my langing page on a mobile site it will indeed resize itself to the size of the pocket device. With Responsive you design one website, and in theory it automagically re-arrange itself for mobile viewing (in practice, there are a couple of tweaks to do, but nothing too big, that's the whole idea behind it).

I'll work on it then, see what I can do with a few hours of work.

Hey guys.

I know I'm not in on the music stuff, but I found this song which I think could work well for the credits. I picture the names scrolling down the screen with shots of Kerbin/Duna in the background.

Kind of gives me these spacey vibes. All we have to do is mention his name in the credits and we are good to use it. Quote:â–º Want to use my music in your video?

Copy the ''Follow Ahrix'' part to your video description and you can use my songs.

Here is the link:

I don't know let me know what you think.

I think it's wise to get to the music stuff on the end, after the footage is done and edit-ready even. I know I need the final footage to truely compose the right OST. So the end credits stuff, if it isn't my Admunsen's Theme, will be something that I will make, well, at the very end ^^

True, it's something not that many people will see (cuz' let's be honest, only few people care about that stuff :P), but it needs to set the final mood in the way the film wants it, and not have a "generic" piece that may be awesome on its own, but doesn't fit the theme and the story.

Hey Vagani are you keeping tabs on the google doc? There's a list of "major" and "minor" characters accumulating. Did you write that, or are people jumping their boundaries? Also I thought Amundsen was a main character?

^ Top bit is more or less irrelevant. I miss-read the doc comments/notations XD. Regarding Amundsen and Falcon Kerman, here's what I think should happen with them:

After the intro and discovery of the "Alien structure", Amundsen Kerman now as a 60-70 year old heads the interplanetary mission possibly along with his son who accompanies him.

Falcon Kerman decides to stay on Kerbin and let Amundsen's son go in his stead. He wants Amundsen's son to have an "Adventure" and young age and all that.

That's all I have regarding characters at this point.

sounds good, another idea to the tin

Name: Chezburgar7300

Job: Builder?

Why do you want to do this job: I can build some pretty cool looking crafts, provided you say that specs that are required. I think that this is a good idea for the community and would like to be involved.

Previous Work: No official previous work, but I've played KSP for a few hundred hours and a fair amount of that time was designing fighter jets and space planes.

Boring rolling end credits sequence is boring ...

Look at the Oblivion end sequence, my favorite by far:

Even if we're going abstract, there's no way a "standard" rolling credits (there are, but at the end tho, and not behind a static picture, as awesome as it is ... :P )

Even for a short, there is an epic end credit sequence (skip to 9:48 for end credits, although watching the entire 12 minutes is highly recommended) :

I prefer the oblivion one, over the others, good digging solar, is there any possible way we could make an animated credits like that with the flashy bits and all?

I would like to say that the "Credit's Concept" I posted was just a Credit Concept. And yes rolling credits is boring, like I said Concept: A concept is an abstraction or generalization from experience or the result of a transformation of existing concepts , you you want animation moving through the stars and planets? we don't have that; create the concept with the still picture, I'm to lazy to make fancy Credits (Sony Vegas Pro has a whole section dedicated to credits) use rolling credits for concept. You see what I'm getting at here?

All me and Chase were doing was checking out the credits songs to see what people like and what they don't like. And besides the project is no where near complete, for all we know the credit song could be Hay Mr. Spaceman!

Oh and Starwhip?, your ships look AMAZING, HOW U DU DIS???

Hey guys!

Over the last couple of weeks, I've had to deal with school, followed by a massive feat of cinematicity. You can see it here, but I don't recommend doing so if you are expecting the film to be anything remotely normal.

Anyways, this stuff has taken up a lot of my time, but I'm now more-or-less open for business, and will gladly compose/draw/script-write/build/voice-act/etc. anything that is needed :)

So, whaddaya want me to do?

Well I have good news, my internet is working again and now I can be of even more video editing help now that I have a job and bought Adobe After Effects :D

Erm, After Effects is not a video editing program, it's a VFX/Compositing program. And uhh, except if you bought the Creative Cloud version, that sh*t is quite expensive ! And even the CC version is 60€/mo, but you get access to all of the Adobe CC programs, which include Premiere Pro, which is a Video Editing program (and is the one that I use).
