Kerbal Monies

Is there a name for the kerbal monetary unit? If so I would really like to know since attempting to call them dollars or euros makes the space craft I make sound really cheap. Also it kinda bugs the heck out of me not being able to call it something.

They are called "funds."

Funds, or less formally roots (because of the shape of the symbol). Sometimes √ is used.

I've been calling them Kredits. But only because one game I used to play had a currency called Kreds, and then another game I played had credits but I kept typing Kredits.

Decided to keep with it and just refer to this as Kredits.

I've seen someone use the term, Kerbucks.

I normally like to call them either funds or manbucks.

I just call them funds, since that's their official name, but I recognize Roots, Kerbucks, Kermoney, pretty much every fan-given name.

Or just money, no need to get all specific, generally I can tell if it's in-game or out through context.

"Hey, I don't have enough money to buy this Mainsail rocket engine, it has over 1000 kilonewtons of thrust!" "...This is in the game, right?"
