Kerbal History X

286: Secondary probe launches and achieves orbit, however, contact was lost soon after completing a transfer burn.

287: Jebediah Kerman preps for his first sub-orbital flight into space using a modified Kerbal Navy missile.

288: Kerbal-Kind's 4th Mun probe swings by the Mun and transmits images of the dark side, as well as escaping Kerbin's SOI.

289: The 4th Mun probe loses contact with Kerbin after only a year - It's last images snapped a picture of Duna and Ike far, far away.

Will the Curious Kerbal race invent and discover more stuff, or will they sit around eating snacks all day?

290: Kerbisco comes out with their first snack, Capsules, a cheesy cracker in the fun shape of a 3-man capsule. Space fans buy boxes of them up by the thousands.

291: Capsules are introduced to KASA; productivity tanks.

292: All Kerbal crews manage to get back to Kerbin after their radio calls are unanswered for 6 months. They discover Capsules, and like them

293: With everybody but a single janitor in KASA too fat to fit into space capsules, a new emergency group of Kerbonaut trainees are assembled and are monitored at all times by armed guards to stop them from eating Capsules.

What will happen? With the new trainees lead a revolution in the space world? Will they mutiny in want of Capsules? Will Kerbisco go out of business? Only time will tell...

294: The Kerbonaut Trainees end up getting fat - and Jeb is still waiting for his suborbital flight.

295: Kerbal-Kind starts getting back in shape, since they felt too ashamed of being larger than certain objects.

296: Kerbal-Kind is then fit, and Capsules were then regulated and made to be healthier.

297: Jeb finally gets his suborbital flight - he returns with more scientific discoveries for the guys in the RnD facility.

300: Attempts to use antimatter fail catastrophically, resulting in the destruction of papers about antimatter, facilities researching and producing it, and Kerbals that knew about antimatter.

301: Stanley Kerman and Arthur Kerman begin work on the screenplay for 351: A Space Odyssey

302: A WEIK rocket launches a highly classified military payload into an also-classified orbit. This sparks interest, although only with those closely following the KSC's operations since the launch itself was also highly classified.

302.4: Occageni Aerospace conducts the first launch of a new booster, the Coxo I. The flight is nominal for the first 84 seconds, when the first stage's engine shuts down prematurely and disassembles rapidly, causing an unintentional suborbital flight.

305: The KSP reinforces an act that resolves the problem of houses being destroyed - Put parachutes and recovery devices on each stage as well as finding the best route around populated areas - the "Dog-Leg" maneuver is theorized and not yet tested.

306: The Third blue-gray planet mission is launched - the Probe completes a high energy transfer to the celestial body and successfully decouples from the transfer stage.

307: The probe arrives at the planet - the probe sends back pictures of moons only 3.75 meters in diameter as well as successfully deploying a lander and an atmospheric probe. This is the greatest discovery since Capsules and Anti-matter research.

308: the scientists claiming the blue-grey planet exists is found to be insane (the last time we used mods and other things that were not stock of based on actual designs, we got locked)

308.5: kerbals rediscover antimatter, and the files show that a containment thing would be a good idea. a base is designed to be set up on minmus, which orbits the moon at this point. what could go wrong?

311: The KSC shuts down due to lack of funding - Kerbal government taxes are raised to fun the KSP.

312: The KSC re-opens, but now civilians are asking for several missions to be done, and the civilians will give rewards for completing the so-called contracts.

313: KSC launches their first orbital mission after the brief lack of funding - civilians ask for space tourism. How much would one pay for such a mission?

314: Kerbals celebrate Pi year, in which they build spheres and test out hemispherical nose cones. They also discover a planet, well, dwarf planet, and they name it Eeloo.

Will they launch a mission to Eeloo anytime soon, or will they have to research more tech for the mission?

316: KSC hosts a convention for civilian aerospace companies, this means that civilians can launch their own spacecraft if they own special licenses for engineering explosive material in their basement at their own discretion.

317: A civilian built a small satellite for his scientific experiments - he paid 10,500 funds for his launch, and it was very successful. (Is it ok if I post a picture of the civilian spacecraft, as well as a download link to the craft?)

I'm just gonna post a picture of the satellite, just click the other links for the download of the craft an the full album.

I only used Tantares and Hullcam VDS - you can ignore the Tweakscale.

If this album doesn't work, then here is the link to the album

Here is he DL of the craft - CivilianSat Mk1

Enjoy!

319: Civilians are now building launch sites all over Kerbin, especially in their own backyards...

320: A probe is launched to inspect one of the moons of Jool - Bop.

321: The probe has a fly-by of Duna to get it an encounter with Jool, and makes many correction burns.

322: A New program is created for KSP, the program is to, in detail, study Kerbin and its moons for some more upcoming missions...

What will the Kerbal Race and the KSP find? Will they be overtaken by snacks again, or will they get back to more manned flights?

(Can someone help me with Imgur albums, I've tried to put an album up for one of my posts, but it isn't working!)

Still doesn't work, will try to sort stuff out tomorrow.

[edit: I just posted a picture and placed the link to the album below the picture.]

Anyway, we shall continue where we left off.

323: It was a calm year - and only one civilian launch occurred.

324: Jeb is selected to be the first in interplanetary space, however, we told him that we were working on a probe to test the situations in deep space.

325: The Probe's finally built and plans are being made to put it in synch with Kerbin's orbit, 60 degrees behind Kerbin following.

How will things go when the probe launches? What discoveries will be made, if there are any? Will Jeb screw up the mission, or will he have the right stuff?

326: the probe was successfully launched and no hicups occured and the probe was put into orbit. Jeb was a bit grumpy but he put a squid (squishy!) Into a cargo bay with glass doors. Cams were put to study the squid And the effects of gravity. The probe was named "stayputik 1"

the rest of the year was an eventful one. More probes were put into space. Thus strengthening the Internet network

327: We finally got man back in orbit, however, Tim-bob Kerman (a trainee) saw a squid-like figure "swimming" through space - he decided to take pictures of it and sent them back. Briefly after that flight, they named it the Kraken.

328: We built another probe and launched it into an orbit around Kerbol, it follows Kerbin 60 degrees behind and is collecting solar wind particles as well as general data of the environment. We stuck every scientific instrument we had on the craft, and we have successfully retrieved the results.

Jeb is go for the first manned interplanetary mission...

What will happen to Jeb? Will the Kraken visit Jeb with respects, or vengeance?

329: Planning begins for the first crewed interplanetary mission to be undertaken by Kerbalkind. Jebediah is joined by two inexperienced new recruits for mission training: Bill, an Engine-near (a term shortly thereafter shortened to "Engineer"); and Bob, a Science-tester (a term that would later be shortened to "Scientest" and eventually bastardized into "Scientist"). Training lasts an intense five months while plans for the ship itself are hashed out.

330: The plans are finalized and construction begins in orbit of the interplanetary mission, which is christened the "Koyager." As it is much too heavy to launch in one piece, the ship is launched in a number of modular sections, which are held together by cutting-edge scientifically advanced magnetic rings.

330.1: Cave Kerman founds the Rockomax company, a small startup with the goal of making larger rocket parts to facilitate launching of large vessels and interplanetary mothership components. Through aggressive negotiation tactics, the company expands meteorically, buying up a number of smaller startups and forming the Rockomax Conglomerate. Their first major product is the Skipper engine.
