Craft Not Rotating

Recommended Posts

OK, so when I try to turn my spacecraft(I have one I hyperedited around Kerbin) using the WASD keys, nothing happens, even if I have full electric charge, SAS turned on, and reaction wheels enabled. Has anyone encountered this, and does anyone know how to fix this? (I didn't put this in support because I don't think it would fit there)

Gonna go with time warp set accidentally at 5x. When I encounter the same problem (craft not responding when it should), that's the most common culprit in my experience. Something to check anyways. Beyond that, I can't offer anything constructive that hasn't already been thrown out there.

No, if you input rotation commands they overwrite the SAS. Has been that way for a LONG time

If SAS is off and you rotate right, for instance, you'll keep rotating right until you counter with an equal-but-opposite input - it's space.

If SAS is on it will attempt to stop your rotation as soon as you release the key.

And thus, you can rotate just fine with SAS on. Your statement was false, or simply worded wrongly

SAS turned ON = will try to keep you facing the same way. Turn off to rotate.

You can rotate with SAS on... even then when it is set to hold a certain course. It will just return to the set course, when you release your controls. As far as i get it here, there is no control at all. And i have experienced this after using hyper-edit sometimes. It is not reproducable though, it just happens from time to time.
