I've even seen Squad posts that refer to Danny2462, he's not just any old tuber. His videos have probably resulted in more game-breaking bugs being fixed than 99% of forum users, and that isn't even the point of them!

I'd imagine they'd want to remain obscure beyond their YouTube name because they don't want to be mobbed in a place where it would be easy to do.

For example, Scott Manley's forum account (which I am intentionally not naming), It has a different name and is relatively low key. In all likelihood, if It was easy enough to find with a bit of digging, everyone would know about it.

Well, he does use the custom title "AKA Scott Manley", so he's not exactly hiding who he is. His forum account is older than his youtube fame, I suspect that's why the names don't match.

@illectro Sorry I couldn't resist.  He rarely posts on this forum anyway. And he has posted that name himself before so it's not like it's a secret. Search for his name and a million posts pop up with people mentioning Illectro.

Edit: I just noticed I have more followers than he does.

@Mr. Fusion is Danny.

I know this because I have only ever given out one point of rep, and that was for his comment in the CursorDeleter thread thanking the mod creator for allowing him to bring the cursor back. And his signature links to the channel we all know and love.
