Yeah. First one hit about 15-ish miles northwest, and the other one touched down about an hour northeast.

ALSO.

The weather can't make up its mind today. "Oh I'm cloudy today. OH SCRATCH THAT! ENJOY THE SUN!!! Wait what's the sun doing out here? CLOUDS! Oh I'm not bi-polar enough? RAIN! I SUMMON THEE!!!"

*sigh*

We got the line you got this afternoon.  The bad part didn't last too long, but I happened to be out driving when it came through.

What was it like (wind, heavy rain, etc)?

It was some pretty strong wind gusts.  I got soaked walking through the parking lot, since the rain was going sideways and my umbrella was inverted.  The rain was heavy in spots, not steady.  It was pooling up on the road, though.  There were a couple of places that had some decently deep water in intersections.

Wait how's that possible? The system we got (Or the remnants at least) were moving East. I'm in West Texas (45 minutes west of Abilene)

Was it?

Hrm.  Must have been a different system.  Ours came in from the west, moving east.  Thought it was coming in from the Western end of the state, but I seem to have deleted the email they sent us about it...

Yeah; the system we got a couple nights ago was moving west. Should have hit your area last night and it should be in the Mississippi area by now according to the Weather Channel.

EDIT: OOOOOOHH I misunderstood. I thought you meant there was another system moving west; not our system that was moving east.

Nothing's really happening. When I got back from College Station (About... oh 6 or 7 hours away by bus (ugh...)) it was a little wet. Light drizzle but nothing more. According to my friends Snapchat though, there was some hail so I'm not sure :/

Then yesterday it was raining the ENTIRE time. It was on, then off for about 15 minutes, then on for 2-3 hours, and the cycle continues. Nice and dry today though! *Gets drowned by rain suddenly falling*

Wish her luck!

I will, I'm driving them up to the trailhead at 10:45. Hopefully the wind doesn't liquid off the bears.

I've been in the Colorado Rockies before (Not in winter; that drive from Denver to the park with snow would scare me sh*tless), and those winds are insane

We're very similar to Colorado Springs in terms of weather. At my house it's supposed to be 28 tonight, and they are probably hiking up higher than the house (the school has a facility a few hundred feet lower than us, a few miles south, but I think they hike up a ways). 40 kids, some teachers... my daughter with a 75 liter pack, lol.

U liking this nice, uh, sun?

Now that I have my lens I am. Used to be that I just stayed in until the sun went down. Now, I go out at noon to burn and/or melt stuff. As soon as the sun is too low for that, I go back inside again.
