Really, How do flaps/control surfaces work then? I have no idea, please inform me.

When placed normally they seem to work, but the second you place them sideways they bug out or just don't seem to create enough lift. Honestly I have no clue if it's me not doing it right, or just the game.

I may add as of the time I post this I am trying to build a prop.

Huh. Ok. So custom tail fins aren't a thing?

Lets at least hope this gets fixed.

They are, it's just they either aren't efficient enough to use, or sometimes they just don't work at all.

As you said, I hope it gets fixed.

UPDATE: Also it doesn't help the situation that you can only offset something up to 0.5 metres off of the spot you placed it. Making it nearly impossible to build a prop. ;.;
