  1. planet packs that worked on 1.7.3 will work fine on 1.8.1. They just won’t be ready for the new terrain shaders.
  2. I’m seeing other use it just fine, my self included. Double check you are on the right ksp version. Or post your logs so I can find the reason. make sure you have ModularFlightIntegrator and Module Manager (both ship with Kopernicus)
  3. The OP will be updated when Thomas has time. For now, just make your way to the GitHub release page and find the new update for 1.8.1 there. thank you @Sigma88 thank you @Thomas P.
  4. UPDATE 0.9.0 Change log For KSP 1.8.1 Added Localization for biomes, body descriptions and loading screen tips: German - Danke @woeller Italian - Grazie @Sigma88 Spanish - Gracias @Adstri Added (Moved in) Karborundum engine tweak from Rational Resources. Updated "No ghosts" sunflare feature to work in scatterer mode. Updated antenna patch to handle NF Exploration's antenna module (not the reflector module). Updated KK bases: Added AirBase (airplane) Boneyard, 30km south west of KSC. Added C. McAuliffe space center. Added Welcome Island Harbor. Adjusted hangar mass limits, raised hangar prices, buffed standalone util building's storage volume. Adjusted C. Yeager space center to not have a box mountain range around it anymore. Adjusted Darude base concerning static positions and a contract waypoint marker. Any landed craft here may be offset or destroyed. Adjusted tile colors to match terrain texture updates. All bases now aligned to the cardinal directions. North runway actually points north. This is due to a KK fix only available for KSP 1.8 and later. Fixed CRP patch structure. It's now contained in a single file. It applies to all fuel depot statics. It will provide WBI Classic stock resources if the WBI ClassicStock pseudo-mod is detected. Made observatory centers discoverable (as anomalies) via SCANsat. Updated asteroids: Now they are only 3.3x dense as stock where they were 33x which was far too much. Updated planet terrain textures to use KSP new terrain shaders. Updated Jool and Lindor: Added some more wow factor. Adjusted/Fixed HazardousBody. Jool-diving remains an exercise in extreme steam bathing. Lindor's rings now have a detail texture to simulate granular debris fields. Updated Kerbin: expanded arid biomes region southward around and over Darude base. Updated Moho: new biome map + Rational Resources config. Updated Nara: new surface + new biome map. Updated Minmus: new surface + no pixelation. Update Huygen: Scatterer atmosphere adjustments. Updated Rational Resources bundle to 1.1.0. Full changelog here. Download links in the OP Kopernicus OP may not be updated until tomorrow. Sigma does not have access to edit it, but the github will show a new release. https://github.com/Kopernicus/Kopernicus/releases/ Enjoy!
  5. I’m looking forward to contracting the caronavirus tonight while watching the super bowl.
  6. Yes, absolutely. There is nothing wrong with showing appreciation. Saying thanks does not get in the way of a release, or annoy devs. It also doesn’t hide a release announcement either. The OP will change, and people will talk about it, surely. You won’t miss anything, I can assure you.
  7. If you mean just adding what squad has already given us to other bodies, yes. If you mean making our own models and using them as breaking ground scatters, then no, not yet
  8. I also completely got a release date wrong last week. I’m not worthy either lol it also doesn’t take away from the legitimacy of the dev version he had also, Monday didn’t exist.
  9. @Rocketology was given a dev version to test over the weekend, so was another streamer named @woeller. They are legit. A Monday release was planned but a few last minute things came up. Stay tuned
  10. I’m a big fan of the of the Green Skull pack, so I hope to see you complete that
  11. https://github.com/DerPopo/UABE/releases you just need a unity asset extractor. You’ll have to look through the different shared asset bundles to find the texture you are looking for.
  12. That’s impressive, but is that unique downloads? Just think about if I had charged for SVE.. even just $2 lol I would have retired by now... well not really. It may have 665k+ downloads, I can assure you they aren’t all unique, and I wouldn’t charge for updates, so I’d still be broke. Well, that tune changed quickly
  13. Just copy the install you were setting up and save it for when Kopernicus drops. That way, it should be as easy as dropping Kopernicus, and your choice of planet pack in.
  14. GPP/JNSQ exclusive. It’s not in default Strategia
  15. Something has to be changing, though, to allow for regional terrain textures to happen. best case scenario, it’s already it’s already a feature of the new shader, but unused in stock.
  16. Except for the shader changes on Kerbin again. Probably won’t be just a recompile, unfortunately.
  17. The only things planet packs really need to update for are the textures for terrain shaders, but those are completely optional. Using a planet pack that only supports old stock shaders will look as they always did. Particles just aren’t supported any longer, as the ones KSP used are no longer in unity. The new particle system is just to broad and complex for the Kopernicus devs to implement, at least for now.
  18. I jumped the gun. Apparently the Kopernicus release might run a little longer than my initial 24 hour claim.
  19. Well, then I was lead astray! I’ll slink away into my sad, little corner, with the other little boy that cried wolf. But, wow! Thanks for all the fake internet points, guys! Though, that was not my intention.
  20. Within 24 hours, you guys will be playing with an updated Kopernicus. Patience is key.
