  1. I was trying that last night, and the only line of all the logs that came back was this: [LOG 01:53:08.457] Load(Texture): Squad/Parts/@thumbs/probeCoreOcto2.v2_icon Edit: Gosh darn file names! I should have been looking for probeCoreOcto2_v2, not .v2!
  2. I have maybe too many mods installed, and after a major round of updating, I am finding all command modules have been disabled. Is there a way to see what has patched command modules that would have disabled them, or am I stuck disabling mods until something changes?
  3. Is there something to look for in the logs in regards to freezing on loading a save or loading a vessel? I too am having problems loading saves. Especially persistent saves. Auto-saves are more reliable.
  4. Once again I am sending awesome rovers to the moons, and once again robotics have been causing headaches. I usually have only one side working, the other side bairly or fully does not move. I have tried manually editing the save file to adjust movements, but the game couldn't load the save correctly. Are there any mods which allow me to live or externally edit my ship or make adjustments to fix the issue?
  5. It would only place surface mount items on top of the hangers and not inside. To place items on nodes I would have to create the assembly outside of the hanger and then move everything in and attach to the node. I would share a screenshot but after unrelated issues I updated to 1.10 and now the hangar mod doesnt work at all (parts still load).   6. Still playing on 1.9, how do I install parts into a Mk3 cargo bay as if the mod was not installed? I want to install things like science experiments inside of the bay.

  9. If I find one of these cases (found 3 so far), what should they be changed to to be complient?
  10. I have noticed that with Mechjeb installed my probe cores all show as having two KOS systems installed instead of 1. When flying I have two terminal open, close, power toggle available. KOS bug, Mechjeb bug, neither?
  11. Is there a way to have Gravity Turn reduce throttle during Max Q to prevent it from going too high?
  12. When playing games I prefer the movement layout AEDF instead of AWSD. I have had to change a few other bindings as a result. Plus some things I don't use very often but might need. A mod I would like to see is one that shows on screen your keyboard and what each button does using an icon or small text. It can change based on context.
  13. Ahh that helps. I was having trouble with Staging always disappearing and couldnt find settings anywhere.

  16. I read about that but the article was from 2011 or so so wasn't sure if that was still true or not. I have 8 GBs and it sometimes seems a little slow, usually FPS is about 10-20 using almost all the lowest graphic settings.

I am planning on getting a new computer, a mac book pro: 2.6GHz 6-core 9th-generation Intel Core i7 processor, Turbo Boost up to 4.5GHz AMD Radeon Pro 5300M with 4GB of GDDR6 memory 16GB 2666MHz DDR4 memory To improve KSP (with DLC and mods) performance (better graphics with less lag but still at 30fps), which one of these should I upgrade: 2.4GHz 8‑core 9th‑generation Intel Core i9 processor, Turbo Boost up to 5.0GHz 32GB 2666MHz DDR4 memory 64GB 2666MHz DDR4 memory AMD Radeon Pro 5500M with 4GB of GDDR6 memory AMD Radeon Pro 5500M with 8GB of GDDR6 memory TL;DR: which is more useful, increasing RAM, VRAM, or processer cores?
  18. Can I make a feature request for the next MechJeb update? Can we make it so we can exclude engines from differential throttle changing their thrust limit? That way we can have high vectoring engines stay at full power to help steer. Could also add options to, when reducing an engine's throttle, it prioritizes reducing lower thrust engines or lower ISP engines.
  19. I already tried changing weither its on or not but that doesnt answer my question of the difference between climb and turn.
  20. What is the difference in the accent autopilot between ° climb and ° turn? I am having trouble launching a Space Shuttle. The accent autopilot keeps rolling my ship and its driving me nuts.
  21. Agreed. It works but I can't use the drop down buttons to change maps or settings.
  22. Kerbal 1.8 just released. The Katz toolbar group is not visible. FPS viewer still works, which was on during 1.7.
