I have been looking to get an SSD. I have a free PCIe Small port. (i think it is a x1 but not sure) Can any one recommend me an SSD under £100?

Maybe on hard mode you could have to build them around Kerbin. At the start you could have maybe a few around the equator so you had coverage only there but everywhere else would be a deadzone until you built more. The strength could also be upgraded so that it would at first only reach maybe 90km up but could be upgraded further. Sorry, don't mind me just typing my dreams onto here. XD

Oooh, maybe there could be a new repair dish contract. You have to fly to a dish and EVA and repair with an engineer. That would give a new use for planes and actually make them have a purpose.

Oh right. I guess you could use the joystick for rotation and maybe use your other hand on the keyboard for translation. It's not ideal, i know.

I think you can bind the axis differently for normal flight and docking mode. When you go to bind an axis, you have options to disable it for staging or docking mode. You could bind your joystick to attitude control during staging mode and then bind a button to switch to docking mode which would then use the joystick for translation. Just to clarify the option to enable it only for a certain flight mode is on the menu when you are told to move the axis you want to bind. It is a green circle thing.

If you want to make a board game, i think if you make a prototype (CAD then print) and then there was a company that you could pitch it to in order to prove it was feasible and fun. I can't remember the company, i will try find it. it seems that there are several. I don't know where you are from but I just typed in ''pitch a board game'' and several came up so i think there should be some near you also. Goodluck.

Some times something that looks kind of clunky any not streamline still looks good. Like if your going for that 'cheap as possible' look. So i don't mind what it looks like. I wont go and make something look better if it will degrade the craft but i will if i can.

Not sure if this counts as a PC building question but does any one have any recommendations for a HOTAS under £50? (first time getting one)

I think it is not going over 105 due to throttling of the clock speed. My old card used to do the same after about 10 mins of playing a game. To fix it i just underclocked the card by about 100MHz. It decreased performance slightly but it stopped the throttling whic halved the clock speed.

This happened to me before. I think it happens when you open notifications on mobile and then press on one, and then press back again so you go back a page.

Hmm, do the fans on the card work? Like do they get to 100% when the temperatures get high? Apart from that I am not sure. Sorry.

Just wondering what card you you have? You could try open your case and clean dust off. I don't thing the graphics card will get any higher because it will throttle down so you may notice performance decrease once it gets to a higher tempreture. Also does this only happen with KSP?

I got my results today and i got into University!!! (only just) I will be flying planes in a month or two bringing my kerbal skills into real life. I just want to say thanks to all you guys and to SQUAD because without KSP i surely would have failed the space and gravitation part of my physics which would have meant i didn't get a place at university and also for the inspiration to try to become a pilot.

I guess Kerbal habits die hard. XD
