  1. Your plane is awfully short. That'll make your plane prone to spazzing out, as you've seen. Imagine stretching it in length, and it'll point into the wind like a weather vane, with the stability you're looking for. Moving your front wheels back a bit toward the center of mass will help with the ground handling, but as narrowly-spaced as they are, and with the way KSP deals with wheel colliders not at 90° angles to the ground, it'll always be a bit tricky to handle. My favorite plane right now is a tail-dragger, and even with rudder pedals, it'll still get away from me from time to time.
  2. Well how do you know if you don't even try?! Seriously, awesome invention, though. It's giving me some ideas. - - - Updated - - - Very clever idea to use procedural tanks to sculpt the plane, and it turned out beautifully, too! - - - Updated - - - It's been too long since I've posted anything. I've been flying a lot of DCS: Fw-190, Bf-109, and P-51 Mustang, so I wanted to make a plane that behaved similarly to those old WW2 fighters. There's no engine torque, or prop wash striking the left side of the tail, but in a fortunate quirk of KSP wheel-collider shenanigans, the plane required a lot of footwork on the rudder pedals when taking off and landing, which so closely mirrored their real-world counterparts, I was ecstatic! It's not much to look at, and I've tweaked the KAX radial prop as best I could, such that it'll deliver 400 knots in level flight. It's still a bit OP, but also fun, flying low and slow through mountain passes. It'll land at a very smooth 100 knots on almost any terrain, too.
  3. Hi all. I'm in search of a Mk I IVA that removes the sight-obstructing canopy structure. From the outside, they obviously don't belong, and just imagine the joy of flying IVA with a full view of the sky! Thanks!
  4. Holy crap! Those jet engines! The particle and sound FX are brilliant!
  5. The single best videogame soundtrack of all time:
  6. It takes me 1m 57s to see the main menu from the time I double-click the icon. During the first 33 seconds of that, there's no loading screen at all. Just the desktop, with a very jittery and laggy mouse. Weird stuff.
  7. The Galactica! Be still, my heart. I'm going to perform the Adama maneuver!
  8. V8jester, how were you able to achieve that sunflare? I tried using the Unity Assets Manager to plug it into the game, but got solid grey blocks, instead.
  9. I love the shaking. Very cool effect, though I wish it were a bit more high-frequency at times. Even better is using TrackIR with it.
  10. The way it works, is the image on the screen moves much more than your head does. It does seem counterintuitive, but when you experience it for yourself, you'll be hooked.
  11. Long have I waited for the day when I could use TrackIR for IVA, and still have a shaky cam! Glorious!
  12. It's only a matter of time until the machines take over!
  13. An excellent idea. I used to do the same thing with my old Munar Kethane refineries, but they were never intended to take off again. Just don't retract the cables by accident! Or at least quicksave before you do!
  14. Now that was one fine video, and one fine ship, too!
  15. Shut up and take my money! Thanks so much for this! Excellent work!
