When you begin to consider doing a mission in real time, without any warp, just for the heck of it.

I once launched a ship to the Mun on my laptop. After the ejection burn I got distracted and... just closed the laptop without even hitting pause... When I opened it in the morning, the ship had already crashed into the Mun

You know you play too much KSP when your friends yell at you something like "I said lunch, not launch"...

You know your girlfriend plays too much KSP, when you come home late from a party and yellow sticker on the fridge says "I ate all the snacks..."
