OK, so its been a while, but I may now be getting some time to start working on this again.

Just need to figure out how to do Textures for the planets really.

The version file has some syntax errors (missing quotes for URL and DOWNLOAD properties). I couldn't find a bug tracker link, so here's a corrected version:

Note though that URL is supposed to point to an online copy of the version file itself, so you can make changes to the compatibility after release and users can be notified of updates. I don't think you have such a file currently so I did not attempt to fix that.
