Halban
Intercept added a UI scale setting to the game. You don’t need this mod anymore. What does this mod do? UI Scaler is a temporary mod that allows you to change the size of the game's user interface via a slider in the settings menu. This is handy if you're playing on a bigger or smaller than average monitor. The default size is 80% of the original, but you can set it to anywhere between 60% and 120% of the original size. As soon as the built-in UI scaling option is online I will be discontinuing UI Scaler. Please let me know about any bugs until then! Dependencies - BepInEx via SpaceDock: https://spacedock.info/mod/3255/BepInEx for KSP 2 - Space Warp via SpaceDock: https://spacedock.info/mod/3257/Space Warp Installation 1. Open the game folder by right-clicking on the game in your Steam library, selecting "Manage," and then clicking "Browse local files." 2. Install Space Warp + BepInEx: https://spacedock.info/mod/3277/Space%20Warp%20+%20BepInEx 3. Download UI Scaler, open the zip file, and drag the included BepInEx folder into the game folder. __________________________________________________________________ Download SpaceDock: https://spacedock.info/mod/3291/UI Scaler Github: https://github.com/Halbann/UIScaler/releases __________________________________________________________________ Source The complete source for UI Scaler is available on Github: https://github.com/Halbann/UIScaler License UI Scaler is distributed under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license. InterstellarDrifter
Thank you for the contribution to the community. I use a large format 4k monitor, and this mod gives me all that screen real-estate back helping restore some immersion and make those gorgeous sunrises/sunsets more visible and enjoyable. feature addition request/question about.. The VAB part catalogue window is quite large, like 1/4 - 1/3 of the screen I'd say. I think it could benefit from being scaled as well, if that is at all possible? LameLefty
Not sure if this is affecting anyone else, but when I have this mod installed, when in the Map view, as soon as I zoom in with my mouse scroll wheel, the zoom level of the Map gets stuck fully zoomed-in, regardless of what I have the UI scale set to. As soon as I remove the mod and restart the game, my Map zoom works normally again.

Just tried again and confirmed not an issue with the scaling set to 80% (2560x1440p). I'm wondering if one of your other settings is having an impact on this. Let me know, and I can post details of my visual setup. Basically, though: I'm at 2560x1440 (on monitor #1 of 3), running Windowed with the following Steam (KSP2) Launch Options, which disables the launcher and lets me move my mouse outside the KSP2 window in Windowed mode: "D:\GAMES\Steam\SteamApps\common\Kerbal Space Program 2\KSP2_x64.exe" %command% -popupwindow Edited March 17, 2023 by Sitting Duck
Ker Ball One
I play KSP1 on 4k 65" TV. The challenge is getting crisp native 4k, while getting readable text in the UI. Mods without their own scaler are painfully small.
kspkat
This mod is great, but the problem is it does not scale ALL UI elements. The one part I need scaled is the staging on the right hand side inside the VAB because the numbers inside are so tiny I can't tell if it's a 3, 6, or 8. Utilizing the built in scaler does not change the size of the staging info on the right side. Utilizing this mod does not change the scaling on the staging info on the right side. It would be nice to scale everything not just the popup windows. Ideally it would be nice to scale these different elements individually, so I can say I want popup windows scaled to 1.2 and the staging info to scale to 1.5. In the image below you can see that the UI scaling does not apply to the staging information on the right hand side. I've set scaling to max and the only thing scaled are the popup windows. For now it appears I have to squint and put my head flush with the monitor to read the staging info numbers. Schneider21
@kspkat That UI is from Micro Engineer, and while it's not reasonable to expect a mod author to work with ALL other mods, I wonder if @Falki would be able to offer any advice on how one might be able to use community standards to increase compatibility. This mod scales the stock UI (using UGUI system), while Micro Engineer uses the UITK system (only used by mods), they are completely separate and as such, even their scale is controlled separately. Both the UITK for KSP2 mod and this mod have their own slider in the settings. Edited April 1 by munix
Falki
I think what kspkat is saying is that this mod (UI Scaler) isn't scaling the stock stage info bar shown in the bottom right of the screenshot. That part of the UI isn't from Micro Engineer, it's from the game itself. But anyways, I'm not on my gaming PC right now so I can't check, but isn't this mod made obsolete by the game adding it's on scaling setting a while ago? AFAIK there are 2 ways you can scale stuff now. One with the stock scaling setting that scales all stock UI segments and another with UITK for KSP2 that has its own scaling for mods that use UITK. Maybe I'm missing something and this mod still has its use. Edited April 1 by Falki
Halban
Yes, this mod was made obsolete pretty quickly by Intercept. It’s completely unnecessary now and won’t receive any updates. Edited April 9 by Halban
