Hi, i have no idea if this feature has been in here awhile. But when you Hold Shift and press a direction key while on a ladder, your kerbal will turn his head in a way corresponding to the directional key you press. ( WASD )

It's pretty cool.

Also, if you press space while holding shift, you'll jump off the ladder in the direction you're leaning towards, instead of just letting go. It's called a push-off, works best in very low gravity. :)

Cheers

Wow, that's Cool!

I can just imagine using this when i run out of fuel during my mun landings.

WOAH! ok, now I know what to do when my brand new, shiny aeroplane inevitably spontaneously plunges kerbinward!

EDIT: Can you push off backwards?

I just tried this after landing on Minmus, and the only hitch was that Bill seemed to loosen his grip on the ladder a bit whenever I held down Shift. So I couldn't play around too much with the looking in different directions...he was sliding too steadily towards the ground.

Having him take a dive backwards off the ladder was certainly fun though!
