So I'm loading KSP.

First hint is "Locating Jeb Kerman."

Then the next thing: "Motivating Kerbals".

Heh! I had this image of the KSP staff finding Jeb, then bringing him to the Kerbonaut building to give a wild-eyed, enthusiastic talk to the crew. . . . .

Ever had a funny combo?

This is a triple whammy. "Recruiting Kerbals", then "Calculating Trajectories", then "Treating Kessler Syndrome". The whole time I was thinking "Okay, so you shoot the Kerbals into space, then they explode?!?! After all that work recruiting and calculating trajectories?"

I got

"Recruiting Kerbals" -> "Locating Jebediah Kerman" -> "Recruiting Kerbals" (again, Jeb scared them off or something maybe) -> "Pointing Correct End Towards Space" -> "Calculating Trajectories"

in order a few days ago.

The weirdest part is that I was paying attention to a loading screen I've seen far too many times to really care about :P

I often get "Biding time" when the loading bar is seemingly full but it has not finished loading yet. Makes me think the game is actually fully loaded already and it just wants to wait a bit before showing me the main menu.

I once got "Answering Ultimate Question.... Adding More Boosters... Locating Jebediah Kerman... Treating Kessler Syndrome"

It appears the ultimate answer is to add moar boosters. And then somehow Jebediah jumped out the rocket or something and got Kessler syndrome.

It's in the KSP_Data on the location of the game. Open mainData with notepad, scroll down and search around the bottom, you'll see those splashes.

I recommend you to backup the file, or don't edit the file at all. I tested to edit it. Didn't made any mistakes, when I opened KSP, ERROR happened.

"Reaching a safe distance"

followed by...

"Motivating kerbals"

followed by...

"Recruiting kerbals"

... Yeah.

Reaching a safe distance, then trying to motivate the kerbals to do the same, and then replacing the ones that didn't make it recruiting new ones.
