  1. Welcome to the KSP forums!! And I like the idea of animals, and a lot of other people do too. Unfortunately, it's not going to be added. Squad said it would be way to much work.
  2. I love space engine. But I am trying to run it on this computer, and for me its basically a computer melting lag mess. Is there anything I can do to speed it up? And btw this computer is pretty new so I'm not sure why its so laggy.
  3. Isn't the music by Kevin Macleod? Almost every famous YouTubers has used his music at least once.
  4. Ehh it's just someone spamming to get their mod famous.
  5. Adding auroras would mean solar flares should also be added, and I doubt they are going to do that, but besides that, I like the idea!
  6. It would be cool to have multiple difficulties! There are 5 difficulties: Beginner, easy, medium, hard, and extreme/hardcore. Easy is the gamemode that we know and play on as of today. Beginner is basically like easy gamemode except you get decouplers and other important piece unlocked by default, plus a small tutorial. teaching you about career mode. Medium is like easy, except with cash, reusing etc. Also it is slightly harder to get into orbit around Kerbin. Hard is like medium, except Everything costs 2x as much science, cash will be harder to get, and landing and orbiting is slightly harder. Hardcore/extreme is for people looking for a challenge. Everything costs 2x as much science and coins, pieces are more explosive, and planets are more spread out. Oh yeah. did I mention that when you kill an astronaut who's not Bill Jeb or Bob, they will be gone forever. If Bill Jeb or Bob die, you temporary lose them.
  7. I'm on a Windows 8 computer that is about a month old and Space Engine pretty much melts my computer.
  8. Alien trees: Sure animals on other planets would take way to much work, but what about unique trees from others planets? On all trees you can do material samples which can earn you some extra science. Spotlight: ------------------------------------------------------------ Name: Spotlight x12 Manufacturer: RKEA Inc. Cost: 250 Tech: Electrics Mass: 0.03 Drag: 0.2 Crash Tolerance: 12 m/s Max temperature: 3200o Electric Charge required: 3.6/min Details: Spotlights are like Illuminator Mk1, but 2x brighter, and can also see twice as far, and they just look cooler in general!
  9. Err yeah that booster isn't nearly enough to blast that up into orbit.
  10. Can somebody tell me what SOI means? Please PM me because I probably won't check this thread again.
  11. Challenge: Land at least 20 kerbals on any of the KSC buildings without losing any.
  12. Well I noticed a lot of my guys missing after my game crashed from a hell kraken.
  13. -When you make a tall rocket, its generally less stable, causing it to wiggle n' jiggle. -It depends on the type of lander you want, and the techs for landers are scattered all around the tech tree. -What are ailerons? -I'm pretty sure the struts break off if you scretch them too far. I've tried landing at the old runway too, but my planes always crash when I try to land. -You need docking ports and some fuel tanks in a space station to be able to refuel.
  14. So, somehow in my second career save, it says Jebediah is lost, and the description for what happened to him is "missing in action". What happened?
  15. Nice! I discovered this game a few months ago, but a week or two ago, I decided to get it.
  16. Thank you. I personally don't know why you felt like posting that would be so important. No offence. But if you are that negative about it, at least give a reason why. Don't rely on the wiki. Keep in mind that the Wikipedia has a lot of fake content due to the fact that anyone can edit it.
  17. They did, but bacteria can survive on just about any solid body in the solar system.
  18. The theory for the diamond planet is that it was once a star, but it cooled of into a planet. 11. We will be invaded by a ton of aliens in 5 minutes.
  19. Jupiter loses some of its gas every year.
  20. 1. The night sky will look like this in 6 billion years: http://imgur.com/kq5Xrra 2. Mars was once just like Earth. 3. The black night is a probe orbiting the Earth. Funny thing is, it was never put up there by a human, and it appears to be millions of years old. 4. In a couple billion years, Saturn won't have rings, and Jupiter will probably be around the size of Neptune or smaller. 5. iSON appears to actually be a planet 11x the size of Jupiter, coming within the orbit of mars every approximately 3,300 years. 6. Earth will turn into a mars-like planet in around 4 billion years. Until it gets snacked up by the sun or gets flung away from the sun into space. 7. The chance of another form of life existing somewhere in the universe is 100%. 8. NASA has a large history of lying. 9. The star VY Canor Majoris is a billion times bigger than the sun. 10. Astronomers have found a planet entirely made out of diamonds.
