  1. you could turn down the physics calculations in the settings menu. your graphics card may be too weak? turn down some graphics settings and see if that helps. also any ships within 2.2km of your space station will also be rendered so keep that in mind.
  2. solved it for you. its the 2 fuel lines going into your center stack. one line is connected to the small tank and one line is connected to the larger tank stacked above it. the large tank feeds the small tank as well as the radial tanks feeding into it and that's whats messing up the flow. you just need both lines connected to the same central tank. i like the design. i did a test flight after connecting both lines to the larger tank and it worked fine.
  3. i believe you can edit your persistent file to change the names and stats of your Kerbals. i'm pretty sure they respawn right now though. if you go back to your astronaut complex you might be able to recruit him again.
  4. ha ha ha ah aha ha ha way to go north Korea!! and only took 18 hours!
  5. you have to upload it to a image host somewhere. mines at imgur... there's lots of free hosts out there. anyways. upload it to that. then they should give you a link and you post that link using the insert image button in this forums text editor!! easy peasy!
  6. K here's my boat! its just a concept test so its not very pretty. but the capture clearly shows 35.5m/s it had 7 engines at first but the 2 hanging on the outside edges broke off in the water when i got above 35. it seems anything over 30m/s gets unstable. probably need more reaction wheels. does anyone know a good method for control in the water? do control surfaces work? if i made a rudder? i might try that.... also... yes... it is headed for land... with the wheels down. lol. R.I.P Billas... EDIT: It's 14t at this point.
  7. I use TAC fuel balancer. It's a mod you have to install. I find it much easier to transfer fuel with it.
  8. Tundra was very hard to find for me. It's just a thin strip of biome around the edge of the polar biome. I finally got a confirmed landing I'm the south pole. Just barely past the large mountain range down there. I had to land and hop a few times back and forth between the maintains and the polar cap to actually get in it. Very annoying.
  9. I know time warp seems to break chutes, at least for me. Also if you are going too fast when they fully deploy they will all rip off. You could try deploying them higher up... they cause drag partially deployed and may slow you down enough so they don't break when they fully deploy.
  10. I will post a pic! Right after I figure out how sometime tomorrow I'll launch it again and take some pictures.
  11. I have the same joystick however I have it set with only the pitch and roll. Yaw I control on the keyboard. I have some action groups set and the hat I use for translation.
  12. I made a boat just the other day! I got it up to 36m/s I usedthe structural fuselage to build pontoons and then had 5 jet engines to push it around. It was surprisingly stable!
  13. Those engines cause a lot of stress on a ship. Try throttling up slower or don't go full throttle. It looks like you need a couple of struts to hold the sections that are separating together. The docking ports will always wobble a bit. I've used horizontal mounted landing legs as clamps before but the construction ends up fairly large.
  14. So you have to circle around until the probe is safely on the ground? I like the concept of dropping probes like that. I've been trying to find a better way of farming science on Kerbin
  15. Hello all! Been hooked since I found it on the steam sale... when it was 0.19! Love it! I have made it to duna but only with a rocket. Haven't been able to figure out ssto yet
