  1. The power of kraken compels you!
  2. One way of doing it is to set the booster's parachutes to have a Minimum Pressure value of 0.5. It depends on how high you drop your boosters, but this will allow it so that your chutes pre-deploy later, so this will work in some cases, although not all. I strongly suggest the DebRefund or StageRecovery mods, as they allow recovery of spent funds from dropped boosters and stages, and are necessary for reusable space programs in my opinion and should . These mods allow "debris" that goes out of loading range, with parachutes on them deployed, to be recovered. Doing this completely stock is borderline impossible, and the cost of SRBs is dirt cheap, so if you are bent on completely stock, a solid only first stage is a good idea, as nothing else could feasibly be as cheap for the thrust you get.
  3. I swear, my mouse is almost broke clicking the refresh button on this page so many times.

    Jeb's Song

Is that a mainsail on the back of a plane?
  5. Is this real life? Or is this just fantasy? Seriously though, this is exciting. I'm having so much fun just imagining the amount of mods we can use.
  6. Also, are the wings/engine pylons in the middle of the fuselage (vertically)? If you have them too far down, you lose stability.
  7. If your problem is the amount of LOX without snapping it in half, and you have B9, there are invisible struts (the actual strut is invisible, but the start and end points are visible) you can use to stay with the skylon theme, but still add structural integrity. As well, they match the skylon color decently well. Try em out!
  8. Awesome! Do you have your list of mods? I'd like to see what you have for those engine effects.
  9. I'm glad this is here, I really like this kind of stuff. Keep it up
  10. This is extremely well-written! I like the idea of kerbals being these heavily-religious race rather than a naturally curious one, like most other stories portray. Keep up the good work
  11. Landing on Laythe in the first rover I had ever built
  12. Yeah, flying on Duna is definitely nothing to scoff at. Well done
  13. Question: What do you do when you drive these rovers around for hours? I've been driving my rover around Laythe and have, to put it short, gotten bored. How do you do it?
  14. Try having a save without using maneuver nodes. It was like this in the early days of KSP, and it's much harder to do interplanetary missions.
  15. When you look at the ISS and think of all the part lag they must get.
  16. You never fail to impress, Majorjim. This thing is wonderful!
  17. Congrats on your first SSTO! I had to try about 5 different iterations before I got one into a stable orbit. For a name for a first of anything, name it after something you would remember, like a favorite author's last name or something of the sort. Just so ya remember it
  18. Gilly: The one place where you have to thrust downwards to get to the surface anytime in the same day.
  19. I'm not the only one who landed on the Mun first! Yay!
  20. How could you even fit that many aerospikes on a vessel? The most engines I've ever had on the same ship, including the launch stage, was 12!
  21. Yeah, the Mini Shuttle is wonderful. Also, it doesn't flip out of control whenever you try to fly it manually (like half the other shuttle mods out there) and the IVA is fantastic. Does take up a bit of memory, though.
  22. The White Dart you made is amazing. I've flown about 3 ssto's not made by me (because mine have a tendency to stall and crash whenever I pitch above like ten degrees) and this is the only one that I can fly. Cheers!
