Kerbco career- Chapter 13: Re-return to the Mun
SelectHalfling0 replied to jfull's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
I have an idea! Name the jool-ship Tydirium, reference to the imperial shuttle from star wars ep 6, which your ship looks like. Keep up the good work! -

Show off your Debris Near Misses here!

I unfortunately do not have pictures at this moment, but my satellites and space stations often come within 1 km of past launchers/orbital insertion stages. -
Darn. I was hoping I had found some harvest-able magic. Still, LAUNCH THE INVESTIGATION FLEET! (A Mun Base and moar rovers and stuff).

So I finally managed to find the spot again (I had continued the roving for some time after) Coords: 2 degrees 26' 42" North 95 degrees 44' 32" West Video: My Scientists are currently calling it "Magic".

BTW I am posting this not because I'm reporting the bug, but because I want to know if this happens to other people. So today, I continued my exploration of the Mun with my standard "Mun Explorer" class rover. It is well tested and is extremely reliable. Then, at 20 m/s, I put on the brakes, and went to eat lunch. I came back and the rover had parked smoothly (as it usually does) and I let brave Hadfen go on an EVA. Everything was also normal, and he returned to the rover after getting some pics of Kerbin. After turning off the brakes though, something strange happened. The rover was on a 10 degree drop, pointing down, however it was backing up at increasingly fast speeds!!! I performed a feat of anti-gravity!!! After wrestling with the rover I managed to start rolling in the right direction of gravity, and when I reached the halfway point down the hill, gravity was back to normal. After more tests I found the entire upper area of the hill was anti-gravity. I even restarted the game, but still the same results. Anyone else encounter things like this? Video of anti gravity hill coming soon.

Best energy alternatives to stop global warming
SelectHalfling0 replied to AngelLestat's topic in Science & Spaceflight
Alternative sources of energy such as wind and solar can separate H2O into H2 and O2. Hydrogen is an efficient way of storing and using said energy. -
Best energy alternatives to stop global warming
SelectHalfling0 replied to AngelLestat's topic in Science & Spaceflight
I believe that Hydrogen Fuel Cells are missing from this list. Cheap? ehhh.... Dangerous? New nano-technologies are allowing for safer mass storage of Hydrogen Environmentally Friendly? The only waste of Hydrogen fuel cells is water. WATER! -
The close calls we all have from time to time.

I was testing a space plane capable of reaching an 80 by 80 km orbit. I set its course well above that, leaving no fuel for orbital insertion (I wanted to see how high it could go). Then, as im watching from the map view, I notice it will be passing by a Duna Transport waiting for its window. I watched from regular view as the icon got closer, and closer, and closer, and I watched as the transport flew by at an insane orbital velocity. I was only 500 meters from the transport. I could see solar panels, fuel tanks, engines, everything. It's exterior lights even shone on the spaceplane for a split second. -
Could someone do a black bear paw with red claws and a white background? Im planning a save "Black Bear Industries".

Alien intelligence and civilizations
SelectHalfling0 replied to LABHOUSE's topic in Science & Spaceflight
Alien Consciousnesses/Extraterrestrial Civilizations could be beyond our own comprehension. Read the book "Sphere" by Micheal Crichton and it will give you an idea about how messed up our ideas of extraterrestrials may be.
