  1. Yep I am still fighting with texture replacer for all of my mods.. may have to suck it up and install it because this is getting silly What do you mean by story? And I don't understand RE storage - we have a wide variety of tanks as well as converters, plus it's tweakable in the VAB... Also you have to realize those engines are not meant for Kerbin - they are downright lousy for Kerbin Those are more for Jool which is Karbonite-rich
  2. hmm...you are on 0.1.2 for the drills correct? For engines I defer to nli2work, but in general Karbonite engines are heavy, noisy, powerful, and horribly inefficient and tend to explode. That's their thing Yep it's an ORS thing. In discussions now on how to handle a fork in the event that FractalUK remains MIA, and there's a plan B and C. See above I endorse this.
  3. Now these icons are also available on GitHub. Download from GitHub Can you please include a license? Will want to include these in their respective mods or mix in with some others folks are making Thanks
  4. That's the working DLL It does more than asteroids so there will be some refactoring pre-launch
  5. SO the best way for me to help you... seriously. Clean install. Karb zip only. Slowly re-add your mods (and you have a ton of them) one by one or even five by five. Anything with graphics (EVE, etc.) do last. If it works fine without anything visual then slowly add those in till we find the culprit. If it slows down before that, uninstall the one or ones you just added and move on to the next group. Eventually we're going to find a conflict.
  6. See below RE Log. Also if you are using 64 bit, try it in 32. Awesome on the engines! And thanks
  7. Go to the space center then come back and try reactivating your greenhouse generator. Make sure you have the storage modules - all three of them. Uses latest TAC version with new rates. Do not use purify - that's for Laythe/Kerbin
  8. Now do it without any of the texture packs, it is almost alway texture replacer, etc. - - - Updated - - - True, but the MKS ones take a hard dependency on TAC-LS
  9. If it did, we'd have something close to world peace.
  10. Totally cool, I'd say kick up a dev thread and get rocking Gotta ask, and apologize if we did this before - what happens on a clean install with just Karbonite? What mod breaks the camel's back?
  11. There has to be something in the debug log... and is this everywhere, in staging, in orbit?
  12. I concur. My investigations lead me to believe this is just stock ORS data. And right now, the only mods I am aware of that even use ORS are KSPI, MKS, and Karbonite. I hope to be able to talk to Fractal into changing some of that. Yep I don't want to hamper mod folks by trying to be the one end-all-be-all for maps - they can manage the ones they curate, and they would be the canonical sourd. And to go one step further, I'll be deprecating Aquifer in MKS and moving to a LqdWater->Water converter just to get one less confusing thing in there. Probably so. This is first and foremost about preventing crashes by ORS (which I'm sure we can all agree is a pretty important thing). For folks to also play nice and reuse resources is even better, but that's a whole different level of cat herding.
  13. No license, ripping off/deriving from someone else's work without attribution as required by a CC license. Gotta raise an eyebrow at someone who goes into the StarSystems thread, acts incredibly rude to the mod author, then just proceeds to lift and derive their stuff without attribution.
  14. ORS bug - probably have to cross-post that for Fractal to look at (once he comes back). I look forward to your pull request
  15. It's that suggestion bit that's the rub. But there's a larger problem... if two people make the same resource, which map do I use? The first list is more a case that if people decide to use it and make their own definitions, it will absolutely blow up as a duplicate key. Hence why I care more about ORS definitions than resources. So assuming KSPI manages it's resource and maps, CRP manages the MKS/Karbonite/Whatever ones, we're safe.
  16. True, but I think there is some different trickery going on there (also low collection rates and no supply chain mechanics)
  17. My thought would be that Hydrogen is Hydrogen, and if a mod wants to convert it to LiquidFuel, go for it with a standard converter. Especially since there are lots of uses for Hydrogen and by having it transform into LiquidFuel it pulls it off of the list of stuff people can play with. But I want to see what comes with KSPI stock vs ORS stock.
  18. (See below) Also bear in mind MKS has an on-rails converter, this particular converter does not. (Edit) provide me some samples of KSP-I parts that work on rails please so I can see what converter they are using. Although KSPI itself unfortunately does not have a permissive license.
  19. Try this in the SCANSat dev thread as it sounds.. weird
