  1. Just noticed. Is there a blushing Kerbal smiley?
  2. That's an awesome contraption. Did you use an external tool to create it? Cheers Edit: @Whackjob, ofc
  3. Since the xenon tanks have such a bad mass fraction of fuel, I guess it's not nearly as exploity as it could be... Cheers
  4. The SAS rings got wobbly with 0.23.5, especially the large one. If they're not firmly attached to the controllig pod and the heavy part of the ship, SAS does a bad job at damping oscillations.
  5. I learned that while you can put a one way lander in a lot of places, a returning lander should point upwards reasonably well, or bad things will happen. D'Oh.
  6. Had the same problem with various ships. Some strategically placed struts resolved the issue.
  7. I remeber reading that a part's mass is used to determine it's rigidity. You could try increasing the mass of the couplers a bit. Cheers
  8. Is this true? I don't like this at all, since KSP keeps feeding us NaNs and infinities. I'd rather not have this make my scripts terminate... P.S: all comparisons to NaNs fail: A variable containing a NaN would be neither > 0 nor <= 0.
  9. The smell of kerbals grilling on the launch pad should do the trick.
  10. My favorite is adjusting direction for the next maneuver node and going into time warp - without checking if my solar panels are getting any sunlight. Cue zipping past your target... Cheers
  11. Just met her on Duna of all places...
  12. You've reached 1000 petameters, fyi. Or 1 exameter Cheers
  13. I feed my kerbals extra snacks to stress test new designs.
  14. You're gonna save some delta-vee on account of most of the ship already being pretty high up Cheers
  15. The remaining deltaV displayed for a node gets a bit wonky near 0. It would probably not be the best idea to try and get it down to 0. Cheers Hans
  16. Just haul them over there? I'll try doing this. Cheers
  17. He's right here: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/53811-Where-is-YOUR-Jebediah-Kerman/page57
  18. Bob picked him up. The claw is pretty useless for collecting lost kerbals in space, so I had to send another rocket - with 2 crew hatches and 3 extra ladders. lol P.S: My instruments froze - was pretty certain I'd just crash...
  19. Jeb is orbiting minmus - I suck at flying a jetpack in space At least the misson yielded enough science to unlock the grabber. Guess my first asteroid capture mission will go to minmus.
  20. Started a new career, and STILL haven't unlocked the grabby-thingy. Grmpf
  21. Didn't know how to SAS when I started playing. I got my rockets to fly straight-ish by spinning them, lol
  22. They're hiding in the utility tab, not under propulsion. Cheers Hans
  23. You have to be extra careful when time warping now.
