Right The multiplier around Jupiter would have been a tad higher, though... -

Should KSP have a Delta-V readout?
Hans Dorn replied to bsalis's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
I voted yes. Squad should have an easier job at determining dV, since they can look at the actual fuel routing code instead of having to guess. -
I try to avoid adding boosters to my boosters. That's usually the time things start exploding.

All my rockets are not-so-awesome, once I put them on Eve. Eve's a ######.

What's your favorite Kerbal names?
Hans Dorn replied to thereaverofdarkness's topic in KSP1 Discussion
My favorite so far was Hans Kerman. -
Opinion from roleplayers: Does the LV-N release "radioactive" exhaust?
Hans Dorn replied to r4pt0r's topic in KSP1 Discussion
After reading up on the nuclear salt water rocket I came to the conclusion that it's way more kerbal than the NERVA. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_salt-water_rocket -
They call it Milky Way, just like us. Point is, they invented the snack of the same name first.

Played around with mechjeb - he managed to kill his namesake. Meh.

Shooting something into the sun is pretty easy. Launch at sunset, burn until Kerbin escape. Wait for SOI change, burn retrograde. /tongue-in-cheek I found playing around with orbits easier than expected. Landing in a vacuum on the other hand...

Douglas Adams has a guy called Wowbagger, who travels the whole universe - to insult everyone in it

Duuude, what's in your tanks?
-
There's some flat spots on minimus /Captain Obvious
-
Those are the big ones from stock, attached to fuel tanks. Cheers

Paid a visit to Gilly. I managed to hit the space bar while adjusting descent speed. Lost my landing gear and a load of fuel. Landed on the engine instead... On my way back home with enough science to complete the tree

I don't like the orange tanks. They're ugly.
Hans Dorn replied to RocketBlam's topic in KSP1 Discussion
It's because of the weird way KSP calculates thermal resistance - it's proportional to the distance to the center of mass of the tank. Cheers Hans P.S the orange tank looks totally out of place on the new liquid fuel booster. Squad should add a matching tank of the same size IMO -
Next Goal: What to do after achieving orbit....
Hans Dorn replied to davidpsummers's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Landing on minmus is a good start. It's low gravity makes it a good target for practicing. -
[1.3] kOS Scriptable Autopilot System v1.1.3.0
Hans Dorn replied to erendrake's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I like the idea of using an old computer as a guideline. These didn't have GUI's, but displays and buttons. LOTs of buttons Having a simple fixed GUI with some LED displays, numerical and function keys (with user defined labels) would be apropriate I guess. -
I was smirking a bit when people posted this - and now I started doing it myself. Cheers Hans P.S: Have a ship orbiting Laythe right now that successfully aerobraked from a retrograde encounter at over 8000 m/s. Now I'm afraid it'll end up in the drink when I land it, lol

Hans Dorn replied to erendrake's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Lol I was suggesting this for the user side, not as a change to KOs. Cheers -

For the moment, you could put aside a couple of action groups to interact with your script. -
Now I'm weirded out. Good job
-
Woo, haven't seen that one yet, thx for the pointer. Cheers

I would go if I get the ability to respawn.
