  1. Did you know that the station end caps from DSEV have built-in RCS thrusters? congrats on surviving too!
  2. Probably, it looks pretty slick. But the Explodium mode will need another plume.
  3. What TAC LS needs to do is recognize stock converters that produce ElectricCharge. Also not sure why resource distribution isn’t working, will look into that. Nice to see someone using the 2.5m station parts too. And love that OPT space plane!
  4. I think I have the design figured out: Now the fun of unwrapping and texturing the thing...
  5. Not sure I understand the question. I can use the 3.75m fairing to make a aeroshell for the Estonian...
  6. There's always the pre-release with the Estonian... The rest will be available in about two weeks if I'm lucky.
  7. Made good progress on the Trinity this evening: I've shifted some things around, such as stretching the turbo pump, scaling the nuclear gas core, and moving it to the top of the engine bell. I also added in the control pistons, and did some unwrapping of the mesh. The downside is that having three engine modes is more challenging than I thought, so it'll end up being a "nuclear Mainsail" with even better performance when using Explodium/NuclearSaltWater. Still, not a bad start.
  8. Concept for the Trinity: If I can't do tri-modal engine switching then it'll be an LFO/Explodium engine.
  9. Managed to finish the Zen Greenhouse: The Odyssey Three release is getting there, now I gotta model and texture the Trinity engine...
  10. I like the tilt rotor you made. Did you know that the tilt rotors are electric and can be powered by the mini fusion reactor? It is powerful enough for two of the tilt rotor engines...
  11. Thanks! Me too, I might actually be done before the end of the month! Got a good start on the Zen Greenhouse IVA tonight: Without the plant shelves, it looks a bit like a space gazebo...
  12. For those that might not realize it, the previous post contains a link to a pre-release of the Estonian. Also, I finished the orbital command pod/mini cupola: Next up is the Mk2 "Zen" Greenhouse.
  13. And Bob is a spy! Loving the note too... Also, will Kerny and crew be headed out to any asteroids and on to Duna after their mission? Or are their orders changed?
  14. To: Cpt. Kerny @adsii1970 Kerman From: Dr. Angelo Kerman. Subject: New Prototype Hey Kerny, Hope you're doing well and the new ship is working out. Things have been pretty hectic here, but my staff is ramping up, and I was thinking: you know those landers of yours? What if you only had to deal with just one, and it seated, like, 8 kerbals? And what if it was capable of landing on Duna and returning to orbit? And what if it was so versatile, you could store a small base in its cargo hold? Anyway, if you get a chance, check out the Estonian Duna Lander reference design in the data packet I've attached. The basic design is sound but might need some tweaks before the design is finalized. Your input would be great, especially given your spaceflight experience. Ok, gotta go, my flat top's getting a bit long... - Angelo
  15. I'm shooting for end of the month for the Odyssey Three release. Then it's right on to the parts for the ISV Venture Star-alike. The cockpit was bugging me a bit so I tweaked it slightly: Much better, but that stage lock switch is a bit annoying... And here's the next project: This is the S1 Orbital Command Pod. Think of it like an orbital equivalent to the Mk1 pod. Here's some context for it:
  16. Clearly Doodbas can't shoot wombats, they're not much bigger than two meters. Things are definitely heating up! It seems the aliens aren't particular about having their stuff shot down. I wonder what Kerny will do with that 30 minutes he has before the departure window...
