Problem with recovering rockets is that the render distance shuts that idea down pretty quickly. Unless you can multitask like a complete boss, and have wizard powers.

I wonder if you could get the first stage to land, and then the payload to fly to orbit and then re-orbit and land itself all without touching a button O.o .... EDIT: Oh nevermind... Can't get it anymore, it was uploaded on SpacePort. Damn, I wish they hadn't of moved it. Although I heard you can do the same thing with Lazor, so I'll keep trying.

Thanks Plonio! I was thinking you would need a mod to force it to remain loaded... I'll keep trying with this, I'm sure with the new Career Updates it'll be a very useful thing to have!

So I was looking at the kOS mod, and I was wondering.... Has anyone created a program for soft-landing the first stage of their rocket, Falcon 9R-style? Or would anyone be up for the challenge? I'm going to attempt it, but I'm certainly not the best so I was wondering if any of you pro's have done or attempted it. Or does the program stop running when it gets out of rendering distance?

Because he wan't SRB's. With the new contract and money system, they will probably be much cheaper than LFO's, as well as that it is for realism and completion. I make my own rocket fuel myself; and I certainly don't have just "three or four" sizes and thrusts I can make.

I would post one of my creations, except for the fact that they are all pointless and useless I should be focusing on landing on Miniumius and the Moon again, sending a probe to one of the planets but... I've fallen to NASA syndrome and keep visiting LEO or developing useless stuff. Like, you know, the giant rocket I made with the new engine and fuel parts and kept flying it up 2k and then landing and flying again.... KSP's the best.

You know you play to much KSP when you start day dreaming in class about how your next KSP Mission.... All the time You know you plat to much KSP that when your running you make sure you turn your head in the right direction to get enough "Intake Air".... I did this in a 5k yesterday....
