  5. Let's say it's the USS Enterprise, the longest aircraft carrier in the world, at 341 meters in length. In comparison, the Shuttle Landing Facility at the real KSC is 4,572 meters long, a little over 4.5 kilometers. So yeah, you have to shave off 4.2 kilometers of landing distance, and would the USS Enterprise structurally be capable of supporting a Shuttle landing? (Like would the "Runway" of it collapse when the landing gear touched down onto it?) Could you add more parachutes, put some little SRBs on it, and perhaps try to purposely stall the shuttle to try and get the landing distance down, would that make it able to do so?

  10. Landed on Duna manned for the second time, this time using a "Mars Direct" like thing. (Done in sandbox) Jeb with a flag and the Duna Landing Vehicle. Jeb looking at the Duna Ascent Vehicle, which will get them home at the next Duna-Kerbin transfer window.
  11. Yes, I do have KSP Part Tools. But could you answer my original question, if it does not gimbal, and does not have thrustTransform, will it work? EDIT: Wait, so was I also pointing it wrongly in Unity? Look at the way it's pointing and the 3D direction thing on the top right.
  12. Hmm... I looked at (I loaded it up in Unity) And it doesn't even seem to have anything useful really. It's 2 basic dark pink cylinders, both with the exact same animation and one of them has a mono script which it says that doesn't exist. If I remove the gimbal, will it then work if I don't have this thrustTransform thing?

  14. Yeah, this rocket part I'm making, the HypeDrive isn't working. I set it's thrust to 1000, but when it's in the game, it doesn't even have any actual thrust, (MechJeb says TWR 0, and when I tried launching it, nothing happened) it doesn't have any effects, and the sound I added isn't playing. Here's my attempt using RCS: The spacecraft is MonoRocket-1 Points, I think: 500 Successful Mission 14150 Altitude 100 For Jeb not dying 990 For how much under 10000 it is And I don't get anymore points or penalties for the other things. 15740 grand total, but I briefly get 1. on the RCS leader board!
  19. We don't need fuel (I suppose you mean RCS), was we will put a magnetorquer instead, and honestly, I don't think we need a counter weight, I think it is stable spinning at Mars gravity. Feel free to correct me, though.
  20. Bobnova, our first mission will be a 1U CubeSat that will be in LEO that will have artificial sub-gravity. It will have that sub-gravity by spinning, and I say "Sub-gravity" Because it will only spin to Mars and Lunar gravities. There will be moss in a pressurized area in half of the CubeSat, and we will see how it grows, develops and reacts to the Lunar and Martian gravities.
