  1. China or India? Well, there is Japan's H-II Transfer Vehicle, and the Dragon (Does that count as US?), and both of those are for it being launched on the ISS's "CubeSat gun". Also, could you give us the links to the prices for India and China?
  2. But remember, what do you think are the chances of us getting it? Next to none, it'd be absolutely perfect IF we got it, but that's a pretty big if. Anyway, I don't think NASA would want to give 12 million dollars to some very enthusiastic KSP players who want to land a CubeSat on Phobos, and will glue some plants to it just to get the money to do it. (Just because I said "Some very enthusiast KSP players" does not mean I think this project is impossible. I still believe in this project and support it as much as I can)
  3. Well, we still have to put a plant thing there somehow.
  4. You betcha! I'll start trying to make it when Kopernicus is released. (Bumped again! Not complaining, but that happened!)
  5. Kryten: I know why he said it, and I said in the post that it is essentially impossible to get the dream deal. ZodiaK: DLC is evil crap that EA does. So no, NEVER. They should, however add some CubeSat parts in 0.25.
  6. I want something like Prominatus from my Kerbol+ mod idea thread.
  7. 12 million? 12 million US dollars? If we get that (That's a pretty big If...), imagine the spacecraft we could make! It would be a 6U! Maybe there could even be 2 2U long centrifuges! (If we get that 12 million, that is, and that's VERY UNLIKELY)
  8. OrbitusII, how's the parts going? Both the solar panel and the manned version.
  9. Well, how are you at engineering? (I SUPPOSE that doesn't involve constant Uber equations)
  10. Well, I sort-of see a face, and it seems it has a cat/baby lion/baby tiger for hair!
  11. Okay, so I think we COULD do the vent system, if we make super-sure that the software won't screw us over by killing the moss with the deadly powers of the vacuum of space, and since it is easy to test the software, I say change that to a "Probably". And Mazon Del, and airlock, really? remember, we're just working with 0.5U of CubeSat, which most of it will contain the pressurized area, and the rest of it filled with the systems to sustain the pressurized area.
  12. Well, as Kryten said, we wouldn't be able to put it on anyway, so how do we point our CubeSat with stuff that LV providers and the ISS guys will let us send up there? EDIT: Also, have any of you seen this crowdfunded thing on IndieGoGo of these people who want to send a lander to Mars with giant lawn darts to look for life? It's called ExoLance.
  13. I've actually not used the latest version until now, for some reason I was too lazy to update and I was doing other things, sorry about that, but anyway, bug! (Which I THINK you didn't mention, THINK) As you see, the engine is still showing effects, and the thrust is zero. Why is this? I downloaded the newest version and installed it, also deleting the previous version. Maybe ActiveTextureManagement or something?
  14. Uh... Hydrazine, you see, is toxic stuff...
  15. Does this work in 0.24.2? (Sorry to bump!)
  16. Oh... So maybe we shouldn't do that...
  17. Awesome! But 2 things: 1. Why did you use that Futurama flag instead of the normal one? I'd prefer that you use the normal US flag. 2. Are you also planning to try and do the Soviet N1-L3?
  18. Hmmm... that's actually be a good idea, as from what I understand, that type of mechanism would be simple, cheap, and compact. So there's no reason to not do it. (Well, unless you REALLY want to see how it looks after there's be a decompression in the pressurized area)
  19. Wait, so this works in 0.24? Sweet! Though really, someone should make a tech-tree integration patch and cost rebalance. (Sorry to bump!)
  20. What is that supposed to be? The payload fairing section of the good guys paper project super-rocket? I WANNA SEE THE REST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. Ah, BRILLIANT! I love the way you did the Lunar Lander, just LOVE IT!
  22. Ah, that's good to know. Also, when do you think next week? early, mid, or late?
  23. Well, if the moss dies before we've lost contact or it burns up in the atmosphere, then the missions over, there's nothing to be done. We've done our experimemt, and it's now just orbiting the Earth, just with a camera to take pictures of the plant and in space. So it doesn't matter if it depresurizes now, and it might be cool to see how it looks through the plant camera.
