  1. That was me. To add a new material, simply click this in Blender: Then you import into Unity, apply textures to the material, and export the part. I hope it's what you asked for.
  2. So, I finished downloading (I'm so glad, it didn't took that as expected on the beginning!), reinstalled, and..."Unity Editor doesn't work any more". WHAT!? I had many new updates on 9.9. and 11.9, including updates to improve safety for Microsoft.NET Framework 4.5, 4.5.1, 4.5.2 for Windows 7 (I'm running Windows 7). Maybe it has something to do with the editor not working now? I have no idea of such things. I don't know when I launched Unity the last time, but I think it was probably before the 9.9. It worked just fine before, so it has something to do with the latest updates I guess. I'm running a bit crazy right now.
  3. ...., Unity is not working anymore! I always get an error when I try to launch it! I'll have to reinstall it now...my KSP project is saved, not a lot fun to copy more than 5GB of stuff. Well, I'll have a fun time downloading almost 900mb, with a not-really-good© internet connection. Three hours to go
  4. Simply download the plugin (see #11 for download), have a look at an example .cfg and enter that into the part cfg.
  5. Well...I also had a hard time first. I ended up UV unwrapping everything in the top-left corner, everything very small...yeah, very efficient. But I know better now! BTW, I'm still making my textures mostly using paint.net. OK, normal maps and some small adjustments sometimes with gimp, but you should give it a try. It's not that bad actually.
  6. raidernick has made configs for all those motors. If you download the latest RO package from github, the configs are already included.
  7. I can't wait for the new episode Bob! I will rewatch the old ones now...
  8. My personal goal is to have it out before the first of December, we'll see if this turns out.
  9. @StoryMusgrave: Thank you! Here is a post of mine with all current Falcon 9 hardware: I've just applied for NASA L2 BTW, and it's great!! SOO MANY exclusive, high resolution images, from early Thors, Atlases, Space Shuttle...
  10. It's pretty easy. You just select the bottom face, of, for example, your cylinder and hit "E". Then, you move your mouse up and down to choose the lenght of the nozzle. If you are happy, then hit enter. To make it have a conic shape, select s and rescale it to how big you want its exit diamter to be, and hit enter again to confirm. You also wanna have the inside of the nozzle, so press "E" and right afterwards, hit enter. Then, you scale your extruded face a bit down, press e again, move it up, scale it down. It's as easy as that. I'd recommend you to watch a few Blender tutorials, that's what I got started with. The learning curve is steep, but really, once you figured basic things out and try to make new things on your own, it starts to get really awesome! I hope this helps you a bit.
  11. Why not Major? Though I'd like to know first in how far this name is related to other things, I don't want any of my rockets being called like a super hero from a game or other...strange things!
  12. You should fix the texture placement. You can see, that the transition of the texture between the top "cone" and the middle "cylinder" is looking strange.
  13. Yes, I can make such a tank! Yeah, that upper stage is based on Delta IVs DCSS, and I have to say, that I'm also really pleased with the way it's looking! I'll upload a picture of the full upper stage when I textured everything.
  14. It has a diameter of 3.75m, Fairing diameter is 5m and SRB diameter is 2.5m. It's designed to be unlocked at the end of career mode.
  15. Apart from Saturn IB, I'm working on a mixture of Atlas V, SLS, Long March, Delta IV, and ahm, a bit with Ariane 6 in it too. Still need a good name for it though. EDIT: WOOOT almost 4300 downloads!? THANKS!
  16. Yes, early Atlases are planned too! Since we already have many existing parts for that, like Fairings, Centaur it shouldn't take too long to do. Our plan was to do that a bit later, but if there's a project ongoing which would need Atlas 2 or 3, I can start on them now, why not?
Really great parts, good job! If you want, why not have a look at the German KSP Community? In my eyes there are not enough real modders there, and I think that I really could learn from you, especially in UV unwrapping and texturing.
  18. It's probably because the Fairings fon't shield anything, and the Drag Cubes for the Fairings will be probably displaced, so they create a "side-track", which pulls the rocket over. This will need to be fixed by someone in order to make the rocket flying again.
  19. You mean *this* Kerbin 365? No, I won't make any configs for that. If I start with doing that, people arrive with requests for other rescaled-system mods, and yeah, simply no. You'll have to do your own configs for that, but feel free to share those, I'll happily add those configs to the OP (with credits of course)!
  20. Um guys, I haven't got anything to do here. Sampa said I could help you Mike with the crawler, but as far as I can see it's already completed, and I doubt I'd be a help in config. Again, we need clear goals what to do, and who does what (Sorry Sampa, I know you have much to do, but I don't want this to fail again).
