  1. I can't but a friend of mine has published three origami books. His focus more on paper planes.
  2. You can create the node in MechJeb and still manually fly the maneuver.
  3. Perhaps, but there are times when I am building a riduculously complex ship, and engines or decouplers get "lost" in the tree - and when I've got 38 engines and that many decoupler strung out through 16 stages, on a 700 part ship, and KSP decides that "Oh, you are adding a new engine, that will go in stage 1" even though it should be in stage 15, it's a real PITA to find it in the tree. Especially when I am zoomed all the way out in the VAB and the rocket interferes with the tree view, and I go to grab the engine in the tree, and I grab a fuel tank on the rocket. Much cursing ensues.
  4. I did mine similar to Lou except I did a 3-Kerbal CM, a KR-2L, and 8 drop tanks from the Kerbodyne series. I'm currently in orbit with 3,255m/s of dV left. Off to the Muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun! Oh, and no ladders or landing legs on mine. Just going to set down on the engine.
  5. I think it would be awesome if there was an option when right clicking on a decoupler/engine/parachute in the VAB to assign it to a stage number rather than always having to click/drag on the stage tree on the side. Unless of course I've missed this option in my 1200 hours of playing KSP.
  6. Yessssssssssssssssssss!!! I also don't seem to be having the button issue that dtoxic is having. OK, so is the porchop plot simply informational in nature? I see I can zoom in on various parts of it, and get better detail, but it's not like I can click in the plot and it creates a node. It seems that when I zoom in on the plot and then click create it gives me the best dV for that area. Is that how it is intended to work? Best dV for displayed area, not a clickable node creation? I sometime also get a "object reference not set to an instance of an object" notice sometimes when I click create node.
  7. You are correct that he further away you are the less dV you have to expend, so you aren't exactly approaching zero.
  8. Option for a button for STOCK toolbar vs the slideout window (which still gets in the way in the VAB)?

    Riddles

For your riddle, is Pluto a planet or not a planet? Because I don't consider Pluto a planet.
  10. No it means, that opinions are just that: Opinions. Opinions are not fact - unless of course, they are Jim's opinions it seems.
  11. That is eleventy zillion percent subjective!! "What is your favorite color?" "Blue." "Wrong, blue is a stupid color, and that's a fact!" Thanks, I needed the laugh this morning.
  12. Yes, I see that you are using subjective terms, and ignoring that they are in fact, subjective terms - and then extrapolating your subjective statements to be factual ones. I can't help it if you don't see it.

    Riddles

    Except Pluto isn't a planet.
  14. His opinion = subjective. Your opinion = fact. Makes perfect sense.
  15. They are stock. They are old stock, discontinued items, just like NES, or PS2. Just because Wii or PS4 came out doesn't mean your old games were suddenly modded. Quit whining like a 3 year old, and copy the (Samuel Jackson adjectives here) files into a directory named OldAero. Personally, I like the new parts and that old crafts get obliterated. It's part of the challenge of building.
  16. Apparently, none of you have figured out how to drag files from one windows folder to another.
  17. No only no, but oh hell no. Last thing I need to have happen is think I'm controlling one ship, fire up the engines, and watch everything asplode.
  18. Well, with the transfer between CMs/landers/habs/science module without having to EVA coming in 0.25, that really becomes almost a non-issue.
  19. Pretty much the same design, except I had a -800 filled up with LFOX plus a 150 unit jet fuel tank shorted 15 units of fuel for 495 total fuel - and 6 radial air intakes, rather than your cubic mounted- and I had a 1 man lander can on top.
  20. What bonus do I get for hitting the SOI of Jool, Duna, and Eve? (along with Tylo, Laythe, Vall, and Ike) So far I am at: SCORING: 500 points for a sucessful mission. 1 points for every meter your craft goes up. Kerbin's SOI is 84,159,000M so +84,159,000 100 points for every Kerbal THAT SURVIVES. 200 point penalty for every Kerbal that DIES. 1 bonus point for every dollar under 10000 funds that you spend on the craft itself AND fuel. 1 point penalty for every dollar over 10000 funds that you spend on the craft itself AND fuel. -3630 1 point bonus for every unit of fuel under the 500 unit limit. +5 100 point penalty for every unit of fuel over the 500 unit limit. 250 bonus points for making to space 500 bonus points for reaching a stable orbit around Kerbin (Pe>or=70000 meters) 2000 bonus points for entering the SOI of the Mun 4000 bonus points for entering the SOI of Minmus 5000 bonus points for leaving the SOI of Kerbin 10000 bonus points for entering the SOI of any other planet. (Jool) 20 point penalty for every part that didn't survive. -180 (dropped 6 air intakes, 1 fuel tank, a decoupler, and a turbojet engine) So, I'm at 84 million and some change on a test run to Jool's SOI, and still have 2000+dV to play with.
