  1. What fun this was to do. I had to add a very few braces. I couldnt keep it under control without them. I dont use Mechjeb so I think the braces were a requirement. Worked as expected though. I had some doubts about getting back into orbit. I landed at about 1000m ASL and it went pretty good. Another fine ship from the Space Craft Exchange. TY so much for the great ride. I enjoyed that a lot.
  2. Great ship and a great mission. Really enjoyed that. TY for all your effort. Couldnt have done it without you. Highly recommended.
  3. Gonna be brief here and cover the weekend. Took the Eve Comet, flew the mission to Eve, landed, and returned to orbit for the trip back to Kerbin. That was Saturday. Sunday I took Laythe X to Lathe, landed and returned to orbit and to home. The rest of the weekend I got a start on launching and assembling the OPSEC space station around the Mun. 2 parts assembled and 3 more in orbit and on the way. Im going to use it to complete the science there using re-usable Mun landers to collect all the science. Also going to dock a science lab there. All those ships were in the Stock Craft Repository. We have some awesome ship builders/ mission planners here. I love those guys. Actually, the 2 mission ships are in the Space Craft exchange forum.
  4. I just flew this ship last weekend. It worked as expected and no loading problems. Only mods I run are UniverseReplacer, KerbolAlarmClock, Chatterer, PreciseNode and FlightEngineer which I dont use during flight.
  5. In keeping with todays "hot topic" I selected a class c asteroid, captured it and diverted it from Kerbin impact. I now have it in a stable elliptical orbit. Thats as far as I got. The intentions are to bring in into a LKO and eventually land it at the Space Center. So far so good. My monumental monument plans are looking good.
  6. Next time while outside and before you let go of the ladder, right click on the lander/capsule and select take experiments. Then EVA next to your Goo and Science Jr and take those experiments too. Then EVA to the other capsule and when you get on the ladder, right click and store experiments. All science saved along with Jeb. You have to be right next to things to do that. Oops, Im a slow typer, sorry for the repeat info
  7. Thanks for all your effort in doing this. I made my first trip to another planet with this awesome ship. I just followed your pdf file and other assorted tutorials and like magic, I made it there and back. I couldnt have done it without this ship and guide. It went just like the guide said Thanks so much. Where else can this ship reach and land and return? Very cool and rewarding, I want to do that again.
  8. Thank you for this wonderful tutorial. This should be a sticky so new people dont miss it. I am actually doing things now thanks to the great start I got doing this tutorial.
  9. Im fairly new here to Kerbal life but I am getting there. This weekend I took the Kassandra ship from the stock ship thread in the repository and I went to Duna, my first trip to another planet. Followed the pdf file for the ship along with other needed tutorials as I went along. Didnt know what to really expect. In the process, I also done my first docking and rover trip and first Moon mission style trip and back. Pretty happy camper here today. Cant wait to do more.
  10. TY so much everyone, dont know why I didnt figure that out before. Sometimes I just look in the mirror and shake my head. lol
  11. Ahhhh! OK, I guess I need to find out how to put then in a save file. Ya, they work in sandbox just fine. I guess I got campaign mode on the brain, ya, career mode is what I meant. TY for the reply.
  12. I have almost all the research done but yet I cant load any of the ships I downloaded. I dont know if I cant do that or if the last couple of things I havent researched yet is stopping me. So whats the deal here? They were stock ships from the stock ship thread. Am I doing something wrong?
