  1. The official release of Contract Configurator 1.9.1 resolved this issue, The contract completed as it should. It also showed me the popup messages, I didnt see those before. Were all good here now!
  2. Just noticed the update. Thanks for this, was a pita for me. I was always writing down burn times because of the NaN thing. Then getting them confused with others I wouldnt have noticed it either as the same applies to me.
  3. Your welcome and thank you for all your effort. Its an awesome flying ship, I will strive to make mine fly like that from now on. It also showed me that my normal launch profile isnt as efficient as it could be. I bet you spent some time making it to fly like that. Great job man, I would be proud too.
  4. Ya, that was it. Note to self, should not fly until after the first cup of coffee. Nice to know it can make orbit without steering or even using SAS or RCS, not many ships can do that. None that I know of except this one. Works with stockbugfixes and stockplus mods
  5. OK, all stock build, gravity turn works just as stated in the user's manual. The only issue I had on launch was that I cant wait for the sepratrons to burn out. If I do, the ship flips over backwards. Starting the next stage about halfway through the sepratrons burn works fine though. I achieved orbit, separated the stages and did the cleanup burn for the second stage and it fell back to the ocean. So it works like it should. Now I am wondering what mod I have that is changing stuff, that mod has to go.
  6. Yep, took one of each so ya, the scientist could not get the Goo, I tried timing jumping and hitting the right mouse button. lol It takes little to amuse me! I bet a small ladder would resolve that, Of course, I collected it after I dropped the rover, In hindsight, I maybe could have lowered a landing leg to get it probably at some risk. F5 first of course. No, the gravity turn didnt work for me. It was a very vertical profile. Im sure that isnt what you had in mind. Now I have to say this is a modded build, 1.05 of course. I dont think I have any mods that modify the atmo or engines or weight in any way that I am aware of. Im considering making an all stock build and trying again along with the anomaly surveyor contract pack to check an issue with it as well. I need a stock build for testing things I think. Probably wont be tonight though. Maybe tomorrow night I actually used the lander to get within docking range, was an easy way to get close and stable before I actually docked. So let me get a stock build going and I will try that launch profile again. Could be a mod I have caused that, l Ide like to be sure first. Might want to mention the radiators in the user guide and I caution anyone that opens the command module's solar panels early for 2 reasons, If you were to attempt an atmo slow down at Duna they would be lost and of course, dont want to crash into them before they are needed and destroy one of them. Thanks for a great ship, it was a pleasure to test this one.I kind of like testing anyway.
  7. Finally got time to run this mission. Either the auto gravity turn didnt work for me or I didnt execute it right. I might try it some more later as far as the launch goes. It was a fairly vertical launch profile. Maybe thats what you intended. What I did was encourage it to start turning gently towards 90 after I reached 60 m/s until the nose was over about 10 degrees off vertical. Then I turned on SAS and set it to follow prograde. Thats pretty much my normal launch profile these days. The rest of the launch I did as noted in the manual. That made it so the second stage got me to just shy of making orbit, it plunged back to the surface. I finished orbit insertion with the transfer stage, no problem. Executed everything else just as noted in the users manual for the most part. Went pretty smoothly and the fuel and electric was generous. Easy using that mono though, save that for docking. The things I did do different were. I didnt deploy the radiators until after I had done my ejection burn to Duna, didnt notice I guess but the heat was ok on a single burn without them. I recommend using them though. lol Also, I deployed the command ships solar panels fairly early on in the flight. Only thing I had a problem with was that I couldnt collect the Goo container results and reset until after I dropped the rover. I went through all the motions and tried everything. Flight went just fine, first non parachute landing on Duna for me, easy as pie. I will work on that launch profile too, Im sure I can do better than I did. Im bet you can go to many places with this ship. Great build man, thanks so much for your efforts.
  8. OK, I know why now. I installed the GAP contract pack, When I fire up KSP, I get the warning message the GAP needs Contract Configurator 1.9.1. It says on the GAP op thats it needs 1.9.0 So, I seen that mesage and I went and tracked down 1.9.1 and installed. I just seen that the dev build had new dates on the files that are only 20 mins old. Apparently there is a new dev build. I need to do some testing and figure this out or remove some things. But thats the why of it. I knew when you mentioned the dev build that I had done that for a reason. Thank you so much for your help. Much appreciated!
  9. Clueless here! I seem to recall something about the dev build, forgot all about that. I think there was a reason at the time. I shall fix that and try again. Thanks for your patience with me, Im such a newb. I should have gotten into the nuts and bolts of this program long ago but almost all my time goes to simracing and has for the last 18 years. I need to get out more!
  10. Sure, what log file do I send? Where is it? OH, the ksp.log, right? Now if I could just figure out how to attach a file? OK, so did I get you what you need? I feel all newbish. https://www.dropbox.com/s/oiegcmuf26soon9/KSP.log?dl=0
  11. I originally posted this in another thread mistaking where the contract had come from but I was directed to here. I see several have had this same problem. this is my post copied from the other thread. I just attempted the Island runway contract. I was to climb to the top of the tower and to look for a pod in the hangar. I didnt complete either. Apparently I didnt do what I needed to do but I climbed to the top of the tower. I went and stood right where the marker was. I also went into the hangar where that marker was as well, seen 3 parts laying on the floor. Dont give away the answer if I just need to look around some more or something like that, would rather figure it out myself. Just tell me to keep looking if thats what I need to do. Made the flight at night, it was an interesting landing accomplished from the IVA but went well. First landing there and first at night so it wasnt a total loss. lol OK, so Ive read through this thread and also from being told in the other thread. I do have Kopernicus installed so this seems to be a common denominator in other post on the Island airfield contract not completing. So I guess this is maybe a Kopernicus issue and not really a contract issue? Wait! I just seen there was just an update to Kopernicus some hours ago. I just installed it, I shall try this one again, maybe its all good now. OK, I still cant finish this one. 0.0 meter distance to go. It looks right, it just wont give me a check mark. I guess there is some risk in removing Kopernicus? I will give that a careful try in the morning.
  12. Yes I do and I think you are correct. I guess I should go over there and post that in the proper thread. Thanks for the heads up on that, I will check that when I get back home from the shop just to make sure, I had to come in and finish a job for delivery on Monday. Will be a couple hours or so before I can verify but that sounds correct to me.
  13. I figured it out. The GAP folder was named GAP- Master and it was looking for them in GAP. When I renamed the folder, it fixed that issue. Made me wonder if I had downloaded the correct zip file or somehow not installed it correctly. I did just copy that folder from the zip file into the contracts pack folder. FIrst landing there and first at night so it wasnt a total loss. lol
  14. Ive been hunting all over for why I was missing some flags. SSI Aerospace and KSC Airlines. I came across the issues section on GitHub and I see you have KSC Airlines needs a flag, Ok, so Im glad I didnt break anything. lol So, is SSI Aerospace in need of a flag as well or did I break that one somehow? I couldnt find anything mentioned anywhere about it but it could be that I am blind and missed it somehow. Thought I better mention it in case there is an unknown issue. I am going to assume for the moment that it isnt done yet since this is a WIP. Just completed the go to 2500 m contract. Worked as expected. BTW, thanks for all your effort. Im liking this so far.
  15. Awesome stuff guys, Im currently using SVE so I am looking forward to the results
  16. Just started using this, its taking some getting used to but I can see this is going to be great for me. Thanks for your hard work.
  17. OK, I think I got to have this one here, and some of the recommended mods as well. Finally, a real reason to fly. TY
  18. I had Kerbin shining through the Mun the other day but I had just installed this and a few others. I had zero experience with it and wasnt sure if I just didnt do something right or one of the other mods was causing it or what so I didnt say anything. I removed it and the problem went away. I still have little clue what was actually causing it. But since you mentioned it, I thought I would chime in just in case there really is something going on there. I dont see many posting about it though and I still dont have any clue whats causing it.
  19. Well, my base was on the Mun which is arguably harder than Minmus but I bet its a lot easier than Duna. I spent a fair amount of time getting mine done but it was the first time too. I know the next time will be easier. Duna, on the other hand Im sure will be quite a challenge.
  20. Like a lap counter for racing but arguably, not as useful. Ide like it just the same though. Would be even nicer if Kerbal Alarm clock could alert you on a given orbit too, then it would be useful just as an afterthought.
  21. Thanks for the info man Yes, I was thinking about the future and also the base contract required more fuel than the standard base has hence the double rovers, fuel and tubes. I didnt see any sense in just sending fuel or changing anything. Just launch one more as is. Sadly, I havent done anything with that save since 1.05 came out. No doubt, either way, I will use this again. I hope this still flies when we get the 1.1 build. It lends itself very well to just changing the payload for other uses and expansion. I will take advantage of that as well.
  22. My first attempt at Imgur and posting images. Hopefully it all goes well. Heres my base and my refuel ship. http://imgur.com/a/UHjVB BTW, how do I get my album to display in the post?
