  1. Apparently not ! lol Sorry for my intrusion
  2. From the wiki and I think this is right but not positive Landing It's impossible to land on the Sun, even with "Ignore max temperature" cheats enabled. Any objects are destroyed at an altitude below -250 m, which shows in the end flight dialog as "crashed into the surface of the sun" or similar, rather than ever landing. One can attempt to place edited parts on the surface, but they bounce erratically at a few hundred to a few thousand meters per second if they do not explode.
  3. I have long since lost track of where all I have been, I have been to most but not all places you can go. I wish I knew where but there is no way to know that. I started a new career in Pre1.2 that I hope to keep going this time. So, in time, I will get too all the places to visit not counting all of the little places to visit on every body in the solar system.
  4. I did not know that, TY for bringing this to my attention. I will certainly be using this feature a lot more now that I know this. Learn something everyday.
  5. I believe it is as well but I cannot confirm that it is. I didnt see this issue in a stock build either but there is an issue if you set the UI scale above 100% so it could be related to that. Totally guessing but I do believe its a mod issue of some sort, maybe related to triple screen setups or something strang like that. Hopefully someone will figure it out.
  6. I use the optimal rocket calculator and large grains of salt coupled with some instinct as to what I might need and then add a little more for safety. It usually gets me there. No guarantees and YMMV. Im pretty sure that the calculator has not been updated so more grains of salt needed. Also, playing around with it and gaining some experience with it will get you a long ways. I often manipulate what parts I check as having and other options to get what I need. I just look through what it suggest to me and pick the one I like the best sometimes changing out tanks and engines for what I think is more practical to my situation. Good luck! https://garycourt.github.io/korc/
  7. I have been doing this for a long time now. Works great. I thought everyone did this! lol
  8. I was about 200 dv short of making it back from the Mun on a rescue mission a few days ago, As it turned out, I got very lucky with 4 different Mun encounters with only a small amount of Mono left which just did get me down into the Kerbin atmo. Ive never been so lucky before, not even close to that lucky before. Was completely dry. Took a lot of orbits before it finally came down. I feared that I would land on a mountain at night and plunge poor Jeb to his doom. That is the luck I normally have. I went out immediately and bought a single lotto ticket, Thats no joke! The lotto ticket didnt work out as well.
  9. Just this weekend I did 2 stations. The one in Kerbin orbit wasnt too bad. Had no fuel requirements and 7 Kerbals. The Mun one was a bit harder though, It wanted what the OP said but it wanted 6000 units of fuel instead. I did it in 3 trips. One for the station and 2 for each half of the fuel. I made a ship to get the station up and to the Mun in one trip. For the fuel, it required 2 launches per 3000 units. One to put the fuel in LKO and another to put the fuel tug in LKO where I docked with the fuel and then took it to the station and docked it. Im not halfway through the science yet. It wasnt as bad as I expected but I clearly lost money on that contract and only broke even on the Kerbin station. I havent hardly explored Kerbin or the moons yet so I will get some practical use out of them. Mostly I just like the challenge. That being said, It wanted me to do one for Duna and a solar station as well which required 6000 units of fuel too. I didnt take either of those. Maybe in the future I will do those. One thing though, every time I start a new career, I find that I can do a lot more far earlier than the career prior with a lot less than I had before. Knowledge is the key to success, that and some experience. But, I agree, some of those contracts seem all but impossible. Choose wisely I always say.
  10. Forgive me if I missed this somewhere. Is the servo window supposed to be open all the time even without any servo stuff or any of the parts from this mod onboard?
  11. TY so much for your effort, this wonderful mod makes multi-mission tasks possible that would otherwise be very difficult if not impossible to do. We know your very busy so whenever you get around to it is fine. Looking forward to it when it gets here. This is one of the most useful needed mods available to us. TY for bringing this awesome mod to us, you rock man!
  12. Only thing that is clear is their brains have 2 lobes, courage on one side and stupidity on the other. All else is unclear.
  13. I was born in 57. Sputnik launched a week after I was born. I remember most of the space race as I had a high interest when I was very young and parents that encouraged my interest. It was almost like magic to see it all happen. Thats probably why I have such a high interest in KSP and everything else space and flying related. And oh ya.....Tang..............because ................
  14. I try to plan all my launches so there is nothing left behind anywhere. Stage one always falls back. Trips to the Mun and Minmus create new craters. I collect/rescue the wayward Kerbals and I plunge their derelict craft into the atmosphere and sometimes even bring them back. I have not always been successful.
  15. Had to quote this one even though I can fly without it depending on ship design.
  16. Thank you for all that you have done. Best of luck in your future endeavors.
  17. Dont know what the date was but I joined in at .18. I've played off and on every since that time. Dont see me ever quiting this one. Apparently I joined in 2012
  18. Not going to say I havent forgot things because I have. Those incidents have taught me to pay close attention to that little report button in the Assembly building. I very important button that doesnt get the credit it deserves. I still forget things now and then.
  19. I was born at the beginning of the space race and grew up wanting to be an astronaut. I loved Orbiter and when I discovered KSP , I couldnt stop myself. Been loving it since then.
  20. I had a used booster nearly hit me once, it was very very close and it passed by fast. It would have been a devastating hit, hence the reason I dont leave junk in orbit any longer.
