  1. Mechjeb has disappeared. I dont know what happened. I think it happened while I was in the VAB editing a rocket I previously built. Thats when I first noticed. I had just written down the weight of the payload just prior to that then decided to rebuild that part. It did have a MJ unit on it. I basically trashed the whole guidance container I had and made another. Put the rocket back together and went to check the new weight and there was no window, in fact all the mj windows and tabs were gone. I cant imagine what I did. Its a very modded install. Im not even sure it was mj's fault. Ive tried various things to fix it including removing and re-installing mj using ckan for it all. MJ2 on 1.5.1 Log file below. If anyone has any insight into what happened, I would appreciate it. https://www.dropbox.com/s/crfehjgm2e9yqt1/KSP.log?dl=0 Oddly enough this seems to have been fixed with a just released ckan update for File Extensions plugin or CommNet Antennas Extension. Mechjeb parts suddenly have re-appeared and all is as if nothing happened. I dont know what to think. Dont even know what fixed it or what was wrong.
  2. Ya, go with that method please. Its easy on the machine so you can add many for whatever and they do look good. I love indicator lights.
  3. OOOOOK ! I think we are all good here. Edits worked and now the contract is going to complete. I understand how I will do my orbits for these better now and the edit made the parts good to go. :) Only thing left is to wait out the time requirement to fully complete the contract. Thanks to everyone. I bet my other contracts are fine. I just havent reached orbit with them yet. All good I bet
  4. Maybe but I wouldnt think so but Im going to try that. Problem is now, all my ships that have a connection to the DSN are wanting to spin on their axis and if I let them, they would spin to destruction. Only thing stopping that at this moment is mechjeb. My normal SAS doesnt seem to be able to stop the spin and why would they spin at all? Something is suddenly badly wrong. I cant imagine what I have done. Going to go think this over and see if I can come up with an answer to this. Wait....I know why they are spinning............DOH! I shnould go get a hammer and smash a finger or 2. :) Stupid XBox controller. lol
  5. Ok , that fixed the part compliance issue but if you look at the image here, you can see that the eccentricity isnt checked either and the orbit is way better than that. Maybe that will fix itself in an orbit. https://www.dropbox.com/s/0ltxurgxtpzutak/CurrentContractStatus.jpg?dl=0
  6. Sure, Im brave....I can edit that file....what could possibly go wrong.......:) I dont guess I have much to lose. I bet I have more issues than just that but I dont know. Anyway, thanks for the info. I will try and edit it here a bit later and report back what I find. Thanks :)
  7. Well....... I guess I have 2 choices. start over, or take a big hit on contracts and ships. Maybe start a new build ....again....lol and then a new career. Dont know what to do.
  8. Yep, I changed that but it didnt help the mission in progress. I seen the errors and wondered what that meant. I hadnt installed any contract mods until just today but those errors were present before. I dont know when that started happening. I should have been more patient installing mods and checked the log every install. I will brb, I HAVE to run to the store a sec. :)
  9. Cool, I will go do that but........seems I have to many orbital contracts going maybe. Here is a pic. https://www.dropbox.com/s/vgftue78uevkocc/DMagicContracts.jpg?dl=0
  10. Ya, give me a few and I can answer that. Wouldnt you know, The one I sent out there had the US2 parts on it because I was going to bring it back and its a better package for that. The first I built for the contract had the original parts on it. I should have sent it instead. Which I can easily do since its the Mun. So I can try that as well. BRB.
  11. Popped some on the tops of the launch clamps first thing. :) I havent done anything else with them yet but Im sure I will.
  12. OK, there is something wrong then. Im there, got the right stuff, in a nearly prefect orbit. I thought I hadnt linked that file correctly. https://www.dropbox.com/s/ul5iffqapbz9jkg/KSP.log?dl=0 I bet that will work now. I started a new career just to see if that fixes it but it is going to be a while. I would rather fix the other if I can or determine why its not checking it off.
  13. OK, it seems something is amiss here. I suspect that I somehow corrupted my save or something like that. I know I should be getting a green checkmark in the contract for the proper experiments but it isnt buying it. I removed Orbital Science and then re-installed it hoping that might fix it but no go. Unless someone has a suggestion. I even launched and went to the proper orbit and extended the experiments but nothing changed. Still no checkmarks for proper hardware in the contract.
  14. Ive taken a couple of contracts that are DMagic contracts. Now I havent run this to completion yet so....but I will continue on just to see what happens. So I put the requested (Dmagic Orbital) parts on but when I go to launch. They are not checked off green in the contract like they should be. I tried both the DMagic and US2 parts. Could be that its just not checked green but its all good and it will complete or maybe the parts are not meeting the requirements for some odd reason. I do have the right parts on, pretty hard to confuse those parts. Its a modded build so who knows but I thought I should post that up in case there really is something wrong. Anyone else seeing this or is it just me?
  15. Ya. I noticed that it was over the top at times. I was thinking it needed to be at least half the frequency that it currently is, maybe less and slowed down a good bit. I dont have the anomaly in the main screen that you have. The only problems I know for sure is the usual coming back to the space center and it being underwater or sometimes its just black ( underwater at night? ) which has been going on forever. Im sure there are other things too as not everything has been updated yet. But, all in all, its working pretty well for me. Oh, and I dont know how to disable the lightning or even if it can be.
  16. Thanks to you both. I bookmarked that link. Maybe my head wont explode. :) Thanks for the heads up on using the moons, wasnt even thinking about that. I see some flight planning is going to be involved for this one.
  17. Well, so far things seem fine but I will keep a close eye on it. I had seen your post on github prior to today so I knew there might be problems.
  18. OK, your right, I knew you was but it didnt seem right what it was showing me. So, I wait for 11 days and do my burn and it will arrive there just a few degree's off if that. Still, Im sure there is some formula for working this out. Much more reading required I think. Maybe someone here knows where that info is.
  19. Very cool, looking forward to an update or will this work in 1.5.1 as is?
  20. Thanks for that answer. Ive been wanting to install it but was a bit concerned that it could cause issues. Still am but I think I will give it a try. I rely on this mod waaaaay toooo much! lol But it is badly needed if you run a multi-operational career with many launch programs going at once. One of these days Im going to run into a time conflict that I cant resolve and bad things are going to happen. Strange things, unexpected things, Kerbal things, could drive a Kerbal Program manager krazy!
  21. Are you absolutely sure it works like that? By that method it shows that I will arrive at almost 90 degree's to the intended orbit. Im not sure that it shows you that correctly for the time you are arriving. I think it shows you what it currently is and not the future position. Wish I knew for a fact that it works that way. I might have to do some testing to determine that. Im not nearly as concerned about arriving at Minmus at the correct time as I am about arriving at Duna at the correct time. I dont think there is any way I would have enough Dv to make a major correction at Duna. I see from my searching that a few others want to know the same thing. I bet there is a formula for figuring this out.
