  2. You might want to check out This mod. It should add more fun to the series, as well as some unique action involving our Kerbal heroes having to soak things in WD-40 Seriously though, I think it would be good for the series, it would add some unpredictability too. Please check it out.
  3. Currently, kerbal proffesion is chosen by name, and I think dosen't make much sense. It does mess with some stuff; as an example, Brotoro's Long Term Laythe, as well as it does my savegame and some of my friends' too. Were this implemented, it would also make it easier on mods like KXP. It would overall improve Kerbal mod-ability (if that's a word ), and make the roster cfg make more sense. Being determined by name really limits how you can change the jobs of your poor Kerbs without changing their name. Please post below if you like this idea, or you want to discuss.
  4. Awesome! I want this! Another thing would be for certain station parts to generate a constant small stream of science, so that instead of doing experiments once and getting a lot you can just let it build up over time slowly. Just a suggestion , but I really like your idea!
  5. You could always change the default.cfg in TextureReplacer... But it takes a lot of work and looking. Support.
  6. Oh! Yes, this has been discussed; we talked about after a crash kerbals running around flailing their arns, and have faces covered in soot. We're looking to, in any simple way we can, make kerbals mire personal, give them personality and generally liven them up so they don't just stand at attention like robots.
  7. Yes, this has been bugging me since the implementation of terrain scatter. I think a system like this would encourage more careful picking of landing spots and careful driving of rovers.

  11. Kerbals with juiceboxes? Count me in! About the stupidity/courage, this is going to be aimed to be more fun than function. It is supposed to add some cute things for kerbals to do, instead of just standing around like robots awaiting commands. It's not supposed to implement any new mechanics.
  12. What are the variables for Kerbal eva movement? I am trying to make a mod that moves them x every y ticks. I am relatively new to modding, and would appreciate any help. Thanks!
  13. In this community, Eve (the purple planet) has quite a reputation for swallowing poor kerbals and their ships whole. Many who land on Eve never see Kerbin again. Yes, it is very hard to escape eve, but with choice mods for alternative methods (nothing cheaty) such as airships or propellors, or by having a good launch technique, you can do it!
  14. This is actually a great idea! Seeing as how the flight engineer sits at a console flipping switches and checking systems. It would be both accurate and enhancing of gameplay. Support!
  15. It's actually very, very easy. Just copy the part cfg for the radial monoprop tank and replace monopropellant with an appropriate amount of LFO. Maybe you can have one for oxidizer and one for LFO, easy drop tanks?
  16. All it would take is just edit a part.cfg, takes lf or a new propellant ("Nuke Juice" XD) and uses it to convert to electric charge. It would bring more reason to launch SSTOs to deliver more fuel, and enhance the whole station experience.

  18. When you were but a wee lad? Related to the topic, I think you use blender for models. This evening I'll be messing around with the kerbals. I can maybe make some parts like walkways, which can be placed between hatches and around bases for kerbals to walk on.

  20. You can just stick a mini clamp-o-tron on the front, or there is a mod for it that gives you a cool license plate!

  22. You can go into a file for your save game, press ctrl+f, search ROSTER, and there are the persistence files for your kerbals! You can do whatever you want with them.
