http://www.space.com/19292-nasa-orion-space-capsule-explained-infographic.html has a good picture of rcs placement and there intended purpose (roll, pitch, yaw) which may help with figuring out angles -
echoing the need for this mod, I'm spending far too much time trying to balance my shuttle >.<

You must be using FAR/NEAR because the nodes are removed with them since they were causing phantom drag you can change this if the you look in the right CFG file. -

Yeah it's from SPR and renaissance pack fighting with each other, you'll need to delete one of the over writing files. Renaissance files are in: GameData\TextureReplacer\Default\Squad\Parts
