I took my sweet time in making sure I frame the question and options right. Should be up now!

I've read a few posts where people were claiming some forum members were sick of this game being in early access for so long, and wanted Squad to hurry up and release the final version already. I'm genuinely curious to find out how many people wanted the 1.0 release and couldn't wait for squad to finish their thing. This is my first attempt at posting a poll. I apologize if it's not being done properly.

I've tried looking but can't seem to figure out how KSP multiplayer works. Obviously, I'm talking about the unofficial attempts at this but squad is considering mp after 1.0 (which, since last night, is not that far) So, I'm not trying to figure out how to play KSP multiplyer, I'm just wondering what do multiple players do when playing KSP together. I have read a couple of threads on this but found it going around in circles without telling me exactly what's involved.

Do you feel KSP is ready for 1.0?
iFlyAllTheTime replied to hoojiwana's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
I like your post. However, can I just express that I would've been perfectly happy if squad took their sweet time to polish the product before 1.0 release. I can't speak for others, but I would definitely not "demand" anything from squad. Let alone a 1.0 release. -
I recently gifted a copy to a friend and a cousin who have never heard of this game. I wanted them to learn the underlying game before making things too easy or difficult for them. They have seen my heavily modded copy and often enquire why they don't have a certain feature or a part, to which I carefully reply and convince them to stay away from a lot of mods at least for the first few hours. However, I did suggest 2 addons to them both. Mechjeb and docking port alignment indicator. They both agree to not use the autopilot feature, 'cause they both want to be able to do stuff themselves but like the read outs from MJ. Alternatively, you could use Kerbal Engineer Redux, which is all the relevant read outs with no autopilot. And, I consider DPAI absolutely necessary for all docking operations. Welcome and have fun!

Squad have stopped caring
iFlyAllTheTime replied to llamatoes's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
While I can see that you're pretty upset by the latest announcement, in my opinion, I don't think that the developers have stopped caring. This is squad's game, akin to harvester's baby. I wouldn't go as far as saying they don't care about the game. Although, I'm with you when you say you'd like to see this change. I was hoping for a couple, if not more, releases before the game could be called a polished and well optimized product. I was sort of expecting it to take a good part of 2015 to get there and see the 1.0 release by the end of the year. I'm not sure of the reason for a sudden rush to get to 1. Let's hope squad comes through and delivers. -
Do you feel KSP is ready for 1.0?
iFlyAllTheTime replied to hoojiwana's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Of course it doesn't make a difference to me or others that already own the game but I, like many others here, want to see this game do well. I want it to stand up to critical reviews, which I honestly thought it would have no issues tackling until recently. But this announcement worries me a little. Of course, I'll continue playing it, but I'd like my favourite game to be well received and get a bigger player base. -

[1.12.x] Alcubierre Warp Drive (Stand-alone)
iFlyAllTheTime replied to RoverDude's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
This was first released on Nov 21st; before 0.90 Can I safely assume that there's an older version of this mod that still works on 0.25? If so, can someone please confirm it would be 0.0.6? -
Not as much as I'd like to, but I've created an additional smaller sized claw and LES while also making a new mk2 rcs tank smaller than the stock in x axis. so, you could say, I've made copies of parts, mostly of different size to suit my build style but I'd love to change some of the CFGs; I'm looking at you jet engines, 48-7s and ant engine.

Welcome again! Curious about which version did you burn yourself out on?

Welcome to the forums! These are from the wiki: http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Tutorial:_Basic_Plane_Design http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Tutorial:Basic_SSTO_Design http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Tutorial:_Spaceplane_basics I highly recommend these: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/52080-Basic-Aircraft-Design-Explained-Simply-With-Pictures http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/65638-Basic-Airplane-Space-Plane-Aero-Tutorial Although, as Sierra said, there's a ton of other things you can do before starting to make things harder for yourself. Either way, Enjoy!!

I hope you have a better day tomorrow. A quote from Robert Heinlein comes to mind at this very moment: For me, politeness is a sine qua non of civilization. You seem far less insolent, thank-you. Thank-you for that and the reply to my question. I have about 80 mods running on 0.25 I haven't checked if all of them have been updated, and even if they have, I'm not in the mood to reinstall all of them and work out the incompatibilities. Moreover, I'm not sure if I can run my save game from 0.25 in 0.90 Besides, although I like everything they've done with 0.90, nothing entices me enough to abandon my current save. I recently gifted KSP to a cousin and a friend that I often visit and have played a few hours on 0.90 So thanks again for inviting me to the chaos in 0.90 but I'm having too much fun in the party at 0.25

Haha! i love how no one has selected the kerbals themselves being unrealistic!
-
Sheesh, that was easy! Thanks again.

Can someone please tell me how I can look up all my posts on this forum, as a list? Thanks! PS: Looked this up on the FAQ, no luck.

[old thread] Trajectories : atmospheric predictions
iFlyAllTheTime replied to Youen's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Can somebody please confirm that the latest for 0.25 is 0.4.1? I appreciate it! Edit: Disregard, found here that 1.0.0 is the latest one for 0.25 -
Three-legged walking robot
iFlyAllTheTime replied to Parallax's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Wow! With that search light, reminds me of HL2 strider and/or the walker in Metal Gear Solid. Although the latter was a biped. Anyways, This is cool! -
@sarbian: This should be an easy one: I made a clean install for 0.90 and decided to eliminate all but the most essential mods compared to my almost 80 mods for 0.25 The two I couldn't see myself playing this game without were Mechjeb and DPAI. When I started the game there was a line above the loading screen saying something along the lines of "Module Manager: 6 patches applied, hidden patches 0" Here's what I'm wondering: Should I have installed MM? Did it automatically install itself, since the message makes it seem like it's already there? Would the two addons I've installed not work properly without me installing MM as well? What is the meaning of life? I'd appreciate a reply.

Can I just say I second this. @Navyfish: I consider this to be one of the most essential mods out there. Great job! Thanks a lot!! I recently gifted this game to a friend and I'd like to introduce him to mods just enough to help him out but not to the point he gets overwhelmed. Looking through my heavily modded (75+ mods) for 0.25, for his install I narrowed it down to the your DPAI and Mechjeb/Engineer. I hope he gets into it as much as I do. Anyways, just thought I'd share my feeling that I consider this mod absolutely indispensable.
