This we will do.
-
It will cost you, but there are places that do recovery off such damaged media... so if you're willing to spend the $$$$$, all is not lost. Google is your friend.

What did you name your first rocket?
LordFerret replied to Spacewalking on Sunshine's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Progress-1, followed by 2, 3, and 4. Then I moved on to more significant names. -
And then there's this. How true?... you tell me. I'm not about to knock Squad or its developers and testers, but KSP was the first, and will be the last, beta-game I'll ever buy into. I'll just leave it at "I'm disappointed".

"In California, almost all female pistachio trees are the cultivar 'Kerman'." - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pistachio#Cultivation

But, does it fly?
-
I still say talk to Steam/GOG.

With regard to life in the States; Many are overlooking the fact that most States (that I know of) have compulsory education requirements. For example, here. So, I would suggest checking the situation out with your home-State's DOE first. And not to make any personal inference, but I would question any parent who desires to home school their child as to their qualifications/ability to do so... it could be interpreted as not being in the child's best interests.

I forgot to mention this (an old stand-by) Chilton Manuals.

I would start with the thermostat, a simple fix - cheap part, plus you'll need a replacement gasket. Make sure the replacement part is of the proper temperature for the engine (check specs). The water pump; If you can turn it by hand (might need to loosen the belt(s) first), then that's not the problem. If you can't turn it, a jammed or frozen impeller is likely ... I find them an easy swap, like the thermostat, you'll need a replacement gasket and go visit an auto junk yard for a replacement pump (used are usually just fine, cheap too). Radiator fan is an easy check; If the car's hot, it should be running. If not, check the fuse panel first. Another related problem would be the temperature sending unit/switch; That's another easy fix (usually), if you can get to it. If all else fails - the fan could be shot. Checking the radiator core is a bit more difficult. That's really something you should let a shop do. If it's clogged, they might be able to clean it out - and then pressure test it, especially if it's badly rusted. I think more-so than the fan, the radiator core will likely be the most expensive repair issue. Been there, done that, many times ... skinned knuckles to prove it lol. Good luck.

Get well soon!

Forget modder's hell, how about just plain vanilla user's hell? It seems to me the only people not affected by the changes in the updates are those playing Sandbox - for them it's a matter of waiting on mods. I play a Science game, very few mods (Lazor, SCANsat, and Stock Bug Fixes, that's it), and nearly every update I find myself having to start all over again. Frankly, I'm getting tired of it.
-
Which is yet another reason why I've shelved this game.

... I would prefer for the conventions suggested to be in mid-July or later...
-
They should hook up a 3D printer to it. Now that could be interesting.
-
There are conventions for just about everything imaginable, all over the place. Usually it cost you $$$$$ to get in there, to get a booth... and depending on the convention / venue, it could cost quite a bit. Having a sponsor/partner would be of help... say Steam or GOG. http://www.ign.com/events https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_gaming_conventions

So, do we mate this software/neural net with Seadragon and Photosynth? lol

Random link? Did you read it? Apparently not. Ok, an extract - "Conclusion A considerable difference exists between the number of clinical trials showing positive results published in CAM journals compared with traditional journals. We found only 30% of those articles published in CAM journals presented negative findings, whereas over twice that amount were published in traditional journals. These results suggest a publication bias against homeopathy exists in mainstream journals. Conversely, the same type of publication bias does not appear to exist between review and meta-analysis articles published in the two types of journals." My own view was already stated... more study is required. "CONCLUSIONS: There is some evidence that homeopathic treatments are more effective than placebo; however, the strength of this evidence is low because of the low methodological quality of the trials. Studies of high methodological quality were more likely to be negative than the lower quality studies. Further high quality studies are needed to confirm these results." - Evidence of clinical efficacy of homeopathy. A meta-analysis of clinical trials. HMRAG. Homeopathic Medicines Research Advisory Group. ...and counter to that view, from the Australian study... "CONCLUSIONS: The findings of currently available Cochrane reviews of studies of homeopathy do not show that homeopathic medicines have effects beyond placebo." - Homeopathy: what does the "best" evidence tell us?

The mention of the word "Facebook" alone gives me the creeps. Any 'practical' application of such a system, should it ever come to fruition, will most surely be used for marketing.

Interestingly enough, I have a friend who swears by Oscillococcinum every time the flu comes around... same guy has a tendency to put drops of hydrogen peroxide in his ears when he feels a cold coming on. Yet, as the saying goes, he's as healthy as a horse and I've never seen him 'sick'. Further study required. I'm afraid I have no 'newer data' any more than what you yourself could scour off the web. However, I do believe part of the reason there aren't more prominent publications is this.

I usually keep an eye on the 'Latest Articles' section on the main forums page, but didn't see any mention of it - so, yea, I missed it. Thanks.
-
I'd say it's too soon to jump to conclusions. Same with the notion of it being a step - maybe (at best) a baby step... the machine is still running off a set of given rules, not making them up on its own.

Well, if you're wondering what's going to break and when - CNBC and Patent Watch. I would think because some manner of extraction (patented process) is required, maybe made concentrate, or chemically/genetically enhanced ... yes, they would call it a 'medicine', and, yes, likely regulate it because it has been 'processed'.
