  1. No, there are several answers about this from developers. The only problem is that some ingame things are hardcoded to Kerbin's 0 axial tilt so they need to change more code than they want.
  2. So, what are you going to do in a next update? Would you handle inclinations of planets relative to Sun's equator or like @NathanKell said relative to Earth using JPL data?
  3. Oh, I don't use Linux at the moment, but it seems that this glitch appears in both OpenGL and DX11 mode, you can try to look at scatterer main thread.
  4. It seems you are launching game in DX11 mode, which causes this glitch in scatterer. Using DX9 fixed this for me.
  5. Oh, have you changed Moon's orbit? But 5 degrees is an inclination relative to ecliptics, not to Earth' equator. Relative to equator it's around 26 degrees, which makes missions from Cape Canaveral easy to get there.
  6. But how strong it affects real-life things like, umm, dV maps? Does your approximation allow mission planning using real data?
  7. I'm pretty sure that it's a platinum question, but anyway, is there any chance to have normal axial tilts support for celestial bodies in KSP in the near future? Or this changes Squad don't want to implement at all? I see already two opinions about simulating tilts in RSS between modmakers and that is a bit confusing.
  8. Hmmmm, asteroids in rings maybe? I've found that you have changed inclination of Enceladus' orbit. Are you going to make moons of Saturn inclined relatively to Earth' simulated "axial tilt"?
  9. Oh, maybe someday Squad will implement axial tilts, so education would be really educating and RO with Principia and tilts can be a competitor to Orbiter.
  10. I've found a bit strange bug on Linux RSS-RO install. This mod conflicts with something (KSPAPIExtensions?) with the next string in KSP.log: [LOG 13:56:18.217] System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object at KSPAPIExtensions.UIPartActionChooseOption.UpdateItem () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 [EXC 13:56:25.195] NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object System.Guid.BaseToString (Boolean h, Boolean p, Boolean b) System.Guid.ToString () WhitecatIndustries.VesselData.FetchStationKeeping (.Vessel vessel) WhitecatIndustries.StationKeepingModule.OnStart (StartState state) Part.ModulesOnStart () Part+.MoveNext () This appears, when I take some command modules in VAB and try to put some fuel in their internal tank: GUI of RealFuels is not working and Tweakscale-like field appears in right-click menu of this module, but this field is empty so I can't do anything. Filling an external tank works fine.
  11. Hi, guys. I'm having that trouble with RT on Linux RSS and RO install: data from scanneris transmitting, but without any science regards. I tried that patched RT .dll, but it seems not working. Is here a way to fix it?
  12. Is there a way to disable scatterer for scaled space? Because it really drops framerate too hard on a laptop
  13. Where can I get this background processing mod? Didn't hear about it before...
  14. It's may be a strange question, but is there a way to allow all my crafts consuming electric charge while on-rails in RO? I just realised, that if I leave my crafts on rails, they don't use EC at all, which is quiet unrealistic.
  15. Wow, it looks great! But how heavy is RVE now for a processor and a video card? It seems that my Nvidia GT630M and Core i5-3210M can't give more than 10 fps in atmosphere with scatterer...
  16. Hi, guys. It seems that new release (10.9.0) breaks FASA's Titan first stage tank and LR-87 engine: Both of them don't have RO config, only stock one. Manual reinstalling of FASA and RO didn't help, but I took file /GameData/RealismOverhaul/RO_SuggestedMods/FASA/RO_FASA_Titan.cfg from previous release, and all is working fine now. I can reproduce this bug and send my logs to you.
  17. But why this weird stuff keeps happening? I dont use any of FASA parts and probe cores still exploding.
  18. So I decided to do some research with this cores. And I found that this explosion occures when I attach any RCS thruster to satellite bus. And this is completely strange. I think, I need to manually reinstall AIES pack. UPD No, it occurs with another cores but with attached antennas. That's completely wild.
  19. Just tried to add some radiators and see what says a log in debug menu.
  20. Oh, pozine, your work is just amazing! I'll fly an asteroid mission as fast as I deal with my exploding satellite buses on Linux
  21. I think that it's a kind of linux magic or something is broken in CKAN, huh (but I've played with this mods for a few weeks and that's completely strange). Thank you if you can test my mods - - - Updated - - - Hmm. I tried to uninstall KW, but it makes nothing. And my rocket hadn't any of FASA parts except launch clamps.
  22. Hi, guys. I'm playing RO on Ubuntu 14.04 with it's compatible mods (all of them are installed via CKAN), here is the list: http://pastebin.com/ZbBdnGLX Today I've got very strange bug - AIES satellite buses in my crafts exploding on launchpad due to overheating. If I launch only single bus from VAB, it explodes without any logs and points camera in, uhmmm, sort of hyperspace without sun and planets. I've tried to make a clean install, but this problem still existing. Here's my player.log: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bz1hgIQ7T02fa2hibTF1dDFndlU/view?usp=sharing
  23. The space centre on Kourou is partially under ground. Is there a way to fix that? Also, RVE still not compatible with RP-0?
  24. Thanks for your amazing work, pingo! Just trying to play on Linux with installed ATM (RSS and RO versions are up to date, also I have Scatterer and EVE Overhaul x86). I have very strange glitch - the red haze around the Sun and very blue sky high above the Earth: What was going wrong? Do you need my player.log?
