  1. Me! There's a TARDIS on the lower-middle right area, hidden around some boxes and trucks.
  2. It's futile, but what the heck, -16 Quit being so negative.
  3. I don't think they're implementing a Karbonite clone, just getting RoverDude to make a in-situ resource system totally-un-related to Karbonite.
  4. Pointy rockets? You mean, like, rockets that are sane and make sense? lolno (Yes, that's just a giant rover stuck on top of a rocket) In my defense, we don't have fairings yet... I'm getting all the non-aerodynamic payloads out before 1.0 specifically because of the upcoming new system. No way in heck i'd get away with this in FAR.
  5. 7/10 the picture isn't clickable
  6. I have an idea, but you're not going to like it.. Flip a coin, whoever loses goes into deep space in the EVA suit, that should double the lifespan for the other kerbal. Well, the needs of the many, I suppose.
  7. Moho has no atmosphere, and nor does Dres. It's annoying. EDIT: In any case, for Scorched Kerbin (my Moho mission) I started going there the efficient way, less Delta-V required. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/107411-has-anyone-calculated-the-easy-Moho-transfer
  8. (I added video tags.) Ah, for just one time... I would take the Northwest Passage...
  9. 7.5/10 Simplicity + ribbons.
  10. Update 4: Fresh snacks! I repurposed discovery to act as a sort of sentry beacon, and landed it near the water site with it's excess fuel. It went without a hitch! *fast forward a lot of time* I designed a mining rig, and a tug to get it to Moho. I also sent out life support supplies to extend the kerbals lifespan. They all arrived at Moho safely, so no need to bore you with all the details. But... MONTAGE! MINR rig, with tug. The life support module docked successfully! It took a few attempts to land it (quicksaves), but I landed the MINR near Discovery, which as you may recall I landed near the planned base site. And the journey continues.
  11. Hate to necro the thread, but it's still relevant, I like Stan Rogers music, but even though this isn't really in the style of the original, this orchestra cover of Northwest Passage is SERIOUSLY AWESOME. EDIT: original, if anyone's interested: EDIT2: Other other version that's also good:
  12. I think an ideal interplanetary target for Ions would be Moho... if you do the transfer right, when you rendevouz your relative velocity isn't that high, so you have plenty of time to slow down. If you do it a bit differently, though, then your relative speed is ridiculously high. Simply put, it depends on what method you use to transfer to Moho. Source: i've been to moho In any case, good job, well done!
  13. Moderating is easy! You just tell people to knock it off once in a while. Maybe. Either that or it's almost impossible. 4.5/10 sorta recognize signature
  14. Geez, every time I go into this thread it's you. 7/10 moho aeroworks guy
  15. Right now? Less weight (and with the stock static panels, complete lackthereof) and if you're making a small probe, the tracking solar panels can actually be considered heavy. Of course you pay in part count, though for using the non-trackers.
  16. Banned for using the same joke.
  17. This, the last part. I think Valentina Kerman will be a new original Kerbal, and a BadS. A pilot would make the most sense for newbies, two pilots means two default chances to pilot with SAS, and 4 starting kerbals is a good amount.
