Apparently base modules are a pain to connect on the surface. Gaze upon, ye FAR users, and despair. and YES, it got into orbit safely. Frankly, atmosphere is a big part of launch vehicle engineering, and it's nice to see it getting looked at. Half the challenge of getting something to the Moon is getting it into orbit in the first place, after all.
