Hmm, while my gaming time has been -severely- curtailed I do still monitor the forums (mostly via email). For some reason I wasn't notified of this reply. Anyway, I'm not likely to get much more time in the foreseeable future so it's great to see that you've picked this excellent little mod up, @linuxgurugamer. -
Hi guys and gals, Apologies for the long silence; my personal life has become very busy of late and I haven't had much time to spend on gaming, let alone KSP. Glad to hear that mostly OMS seems to be ticking along. I was most of the way through a major revamp when I had to park everything. Just tried to take a look at your issue @viveleroi and it appears that my SSD has packed it in - which contained all my work-in-progress on KSP/OMS. Grr. Currently attempting data recovery, but it's not looking good I'm afraid. @tg626: Looking forward to your pull request

Thinking them up is easy, for example: http://nssdc.gsfc.nasa.gov/nmc/experimentSearch.do?spacecraft=Gemini 8 I'm not sure what criteria Nehemia used to choose which ones he picked. Also if more are added it makes the early game easier. Would have to balance by reducing the science payout and increasing the cost or time, etc. On the positive side I rather coincidentally managed to get the Unity project for Kemini going yesterday so yes I could start adding more.

Oh that's a shame, but fully understandable. And if it's feature-complete there's nothing really to do except maintain it for new versions of KSP. If you don't mind I'll pop it up on Github for you (fully attributed to you of course), just so it doesn't get lost. Let me know if you'd be ok with it (yes, I know the license says I can do what I want, but I prefer to ask anyway). Yayy -

Also, you really ought to gate optional part module configurations otherwise it throws errors on game startup if those mods are not installed. Eg, for CLS: MODULE:NEEDS[CONNECTEDLIVINGSPACE] { name = ModuleConnectedLivingSpace ... } and ditto for KIS, TweakScale, etc. -

Anybody else finding rockets with US to be quite "flippy"? Parachute -> Mk1 pod -> 4-wedge US -> heatshield -> [launcher stack] vs Parachute -> Mk1 pod -> Payload bay -> heatshield -> [launcher stack] The US-rocket struggles in the stock aerodynamics, especially when coming up to max Q, to the point I've had to add fins to the launcher stack, and requires very active control during descent. The "standard" rocket flies fine in comparison (similar total weights of both). -

G'day, First off, awesome mod and thanks for the update for KSP1.2 - essential once one installs a couple of the other science mods! Secondly, it seems to play fine with the current version of Nehemias Orbital Science - or at least, if it doesn't I'm not sure what's supposed to be broken. Finally, is there a setting to stop [x] Science! from interrupting warp while its windows are open? Finally figured out it was this mod that was doing it. Please make it an option..

I've made some general tweaks over the last week, but also just completed a major refactor based on some recommendations to remove foreach() and Linq from Unity projects. My brief tests indicate it should all work, but I'd appreciate any bug reports or other suggestions. So if anybody is feeling adventurous, you can download the "mw_feature_performance" branch; the GameData folder should be a complete install. Finally: if anybody wants to help, I don't really "do" Unity (or graphics, for that matter), and the Unity projects for the various parts are way out of date. I'd like to update them to the current Unity and VS2015/6, in order to hopefully make some tweaks to the models, but no idea how to go about it. PartTools appears to be involved somewhere.. annoyingly there doesn't seem to be a Unity dev environment for Linux.

One of my first ever trips to the Mun (back in 0.90 iirc) took along a coms satellite which failed to deploy properly (it had run out of power before ditching its fairing and deploying solar panels). Oh they actually got their ribbons. They just weren't displayed in the Summary. -

My issue just before was no ribbons in summary despite 2 Kerbals having earned some. (One was rescued so brand new crew the other earned at least 1 new ribbon). Nothing in log, will try to repro. -

Etiquette of moving to a game new version

I'd say the only etiquette when moving to a new version is to wait until all the Mods you want to play with have been declared stable on the new version instead of badgering the Mod authors for updates (not saying you do that but enough people do). As for actually managing the transition and what you copy over is completely up to you - no etiquette involved since its a single player game Personally I usually start afresh, even if my old save still works.
