  1. IMO probably doubtful. And honestly I'm glad. While the old DERP setup was fewer parts it was also far less useful. The base only had just enough monoprop to deorbit the pod at Kerbin and land safely via parachute. It was useless for any other bodies. And yes especially using USI MKS there were cases where I've used the Derp from an orbital base around say the Mun to get a kerbal down to the surface of the Mun.
  2. Probably best to ask in the KIS thread. In general KIS seems programmed around Kerbals, not crafts. So they are going to be better at answering how/if you can add KIS capabilities to ship parts.
  3. On the flip side I can run a stock game with only CRP and get zero issues. So at the end of the day it isn't CRP.
  4. picture of your gamedata folder? And versions of the mod? Honestly its easier to grab the constellation download and then just remove the sounding rockets and orion folders.
  5. Ah yea look at that. I'll admit I haven't really played KSP in awhile. I'm rusty.
  6. Ok it's my turn to ask probably a silly question, but I'm having a brainfart in understanding what I'm looking at. When in the VAB, my currently constructed ship shows a Habitation time (with 3 kerbals) of 227 days. Honestly I was surprised how high of a hab time I got with just the Capsule and a hitchhiker. It was way more than I need but I didn't think much of it. As soon as I launch and look the Hab time is way different. When launched I'm only show each of my 3 kerbals only have 17 days of hab time. I'm trying to understand how the numbers are so different.
  7. Highly unlikely. The only thigs this "mod" does is have a bunch of config files that define other resources, like water, hydrogen, etc. On its own it doesn't do anything. It is just a repository of common resource definitions used by other mods.
  8. I would also make sure you have the mod installed correctly.
  9. Read back. someone tried. Multiport docking isn't handled great in KSP to begin with.
  10. Probably after... @RoverDude squashes all the bugs in all of his mods. and Has some time to play and enjoy his mods. and Takes some time to enjoy the family. and has nothing else to work on.
  11. sounds like you are having more of a KIS issue than a KAS one. KAS at this point is basically just a parts pack. All of the attaching functionality is part of KIS. That being said, do you have a tool equipped (wrench or screwdriver) with an engineer and are using the proper keys to attach?
  12. I would guess that instead the racks will get reworked. The kontainers that did fit the racks were retired long ago.
  13. Before I posted a Github I was curious if the Orca command module was not supposed to have a working hatch? Can't EVA as it says it is missing a hatch.
  14. What mods are being forced on anyone? (the operative word being forced as that was the claim from the poster I was replying to). Who is forcing you to update? There are plenty of ways to avoid the Nyan cat, that also don't make one look like an entitled....
  15. Wouldn't know, don't use it. Taniwha has stated in the past he doesn't manage the CKAN metadata. Maybe ask the CKAN people.
  16. Sounds like you downloaded the source code, not the release. it looks like the latest release was put up on spacedock but the release isn't present on github.
  17. Nope, can't say I remember any drives other than the ones that are present now.
  18. None of which are forced on you. If anything the nyan cat and its reactions are a perfect reminder of those who have a feeling of entitlement even after modders have tirelessly create cool things that they are kind enough to share with the world. If it bothers you that much you could load up some dev tools (most of which are free), find the cat in the source code, and compile a copy for yourself. If that is too hard or too much trouble you can simply thank @sarbian for his dedication to the community and get over it.
  19. How did modulemanager get forced onto your computer?
  20. Considering this mod just uses the dll from extra planetary launch pads it will need to wait until that mod is updated
  21. It's not too hard to get some serious (20+ years) habitation times.
  22. It's possible that it is an oversight. Maybe create a github issue as well? There's only about 1290 files in the USI constellation.
  23. Just to chime in. I would only throw in that it would be nice if the stupidity rating at worst doesn't cause a negative effect. Those traits in game are borderline maddening, especially in places like EPL where it can bring productivity below 0. The main reason is that while you can train kerbals to increase their stars, there is no way to "train" up their stupidity trait (at least as far as I am aware). And since it is a completely random trait it becomes un-fun in my opinion to work around.
  24. Wow, no need to get offended. Some things we know about Roverdude. 1. He seems like a really nice person 2. He has stated openly many times he makes mods for himself, not for us. He is just nice enough to share them. 3. He has said, as recent as yesterday that he is very busy. 4. He coded the functionality of this mod into the DLL, so this balance is probably something he felt was important. So given these things I was simply taking a gamble that best case you will get a polite reply of "yea no" to your request and at worst it will just be ignored (as an implied no).
