Supplies is not just food/water/air. Don't know where it is but @RoverDude has explained the NASA numbers he based it on.

parts [1.12.x] Asteroid Recycling Technologies
goldenpsp replied to RoverDude's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Yea I'm at the point that @lodestar mentioned further up. At this point we have all said our peace. If you like the mod use it. If you don't like the specs, change it. Otherwise the only other thing is to sit back and see if @RoverDude chimes in on his thoughts, as it is his mod. -
[1.1.3] SimpleLife - Stock Life Support and Kerbal Recruitment
goldenpsp replied to MatterBeam's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Um, the OP basically does explain it. Essentially USI-LS but without any extra parts. And there are like 9 screenshots in the OP. -
[1.12.x] Alcubierre Warp Drive (Stand-alone)
goldenpsp replied to RoverDude's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I don't recall off hand. But it is way higher than that. It is the most common issue in this thread so it should be easy enough to find. -

Are you high enough in orbit? -
parts [1.12.x] Asteroid Recycling Technologies
goldenpsp replied to RoverDude's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Well that is a good point. It's been awhile since I have used it. I knew the K+ tanks are not fillable but did not remember the others. Of course you could just not fill the tanks and capture an asteroid, which is what I've always done. -
parts [1.12.x] Asteroid Recycling Technologies
goldenpsp replied to RoverDude's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
If it feels like cheating don't use it? I tend to feel that the power of engines also has to take into consideration the fuel source. I know I'm bad at KSP but catching an asteroid, bringing it back, and mining it just for the fuel is not a minor undertaking. @RoverDude's K+ engines are seriously OP as well, but getting the fuel for them is a serious challenge. -
[1.1.2] Kerbal Inventory System (KIS) 1.2.12
goldenpsp replied to KospY's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Those won't open. You will probably need to upload them to a photo sharing site. I prefer Imgur.com as it is free and easy to use. -
[1.1.2] Kerbal Inventory System (KIS) 1.2.12

error looks odd. can you show a screenshot of your gamedata folder? -
[1.12.x] Alcubierre Warp Drive (Stand-alone)
goldenpsp replied to RoverDude's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
You have to be high enough in my orbit. Which is the usual cause of what you describe. And also happens to be referenced and talked about right above your post already. -
yea that looks correct. I'll have to defer to someone else. Can't do much else from my phone.

Nothing special. Just install the contents of gamedata into your ksp gamedata folder. If unsure screenshot your gamedata folder

Awesome! Can't wait to see your pull request. -
[1.1.2] Kerbal Inventory System (KIS) 1.2.12
goldenpsp replied to KospY's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
As I said before, you seem to have a great understanding of how KSP/unity do their thing, as well as what needs to be done to fix this issue. I'm sure @IgorZ would love the help as he has been so awesome volunteering his time to maintain KIS with @KospY not around. Really seems like a great course of action would be to dust off your development environment, download the KIS code and send him a pull request with the fixes. -
[1.1.2] Kerbal Inventory System (KIS) 1.2.12
goldenpsp replied to KospY's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Keep in mind that really isn't KIS. It can be easily confusing but KIS at this point is just the attaching/detaching/storage mod now. It is not part specific. The specific parts we are used to having are whats now in KAS. That being said, Roverdude has a KIS attachable light similar to the one you linked, except it works already with KIS and is updated to 1.1.3. -

No. Read back a few pages this was just discussed. -
[Minimum KSP version - 1.11] Kerbal Attachment System (KAS) v1.12
goldenpsp replied to IgorZ's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Depends. I always thought it looked like something you would attach a hose to. -

Wow first post. Details help. Exactly what into what? what errors? Screenshots maybe? You don't give much to go on. -

how's the performance these days. IIRC the downside to Kerbalism's background simulations was a noticable performance hit.

[1.1.2] Kerbal Inventory System (KIS) 1.2.12
goldenpsp replied to KospY's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
This issue has existed since the dawn of KAS, back when it was just KAS (not KIS and KAS). I would imagine if it was as easy as you seem to indicate it would have been addressed by Kospy back when he started working on the mod. That being said you seem to have a handle on what needs to be done. I'm sure @IgorZ would be happy with the help/pull request. -

Exploding parts when dropped isn't a KIS bug. Go take it up with Squad. -
[1.1.2] Kerbal Inventory System (KIS) 1.2.12
goldenpsp replied to KospY's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I'm going to guess it won't work. Items stored inside a KIS container don't really "exist" in the game. The information about what is stored in a KIS container is recorded, but the parts don't physically "exist" if that makes sense.
