Okay, Ziv. Here are the links to the videos. Part 1: Part 2: Part 3: Also, some things I forgot to mention earlier: -On the launchpad the ship weighs 1055.81t (I didn't even consider attempting the light-weight challenge! ) -It also has 310 parts. -The mission was performed in version 0.24.2 -I used no mods at all. -There was only one launch with no refuelling. -You will see in the videos but both the Bop and Pol landings were performed using the EVA pack only. -EDIT: Forgot this one! I didn't use any quicksaves throughout the whole mission. I Had to redo the entire thing due to messing up at the last hurdle several times Hopefully you have enough information to judge my attempt, if not then I'll do my best to provide more.

[1.2.2] B9 Aerospace | Release 6.2.1 (Old Thread)
hazard-ish replied to bac9's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Hi, I just installed the most recent B9 that should be compatible with 0.25 but for me none of the structural parts work correctly. Right clicking on the parts does nothing, I cannot tweak fuel within the parts and the normal and raised versions of tail sections appear together. Is there any fix to this? I have installed it exactly how I normally do and I have installed the mod on many of my previous saves.- 4,460 replies

Thanks for the reply, how should I send you the footage? I haven't really done anything like this before. About the eva on Bop, in the mission I had actually planned to land the whole rocket on them as I did with Vall (inefficient I know but I couldn't be bothered to clutter up my staging with more landers ). I hadn't planned to eva and had never attempted a manoeuvre like this previously so I just hoped it would work. I ended up running out of eva fuel at the last second after rendezvousing with the lander but eventually got him in the ship. A very stressful moment!

The hardest thing that I did was visiting Dres, Eeloo and Moho in one launch without refuelling using stock parts and without quicksaves. I had never even visited Moho before and had only docked once before the mission where I ended up docking 3 times (and I forgot RCS!). The video does have a timeline, it is about 3 hours long though so you may not want to look at the raw footage. I don't think I even know what I meant by the badge either;I wrote that post last thing before bed so it doesn't make much sense. My mission isn't low weight at all so I am just wondering if there is a weight limit for the first level of this challenge.

Hey, I really appreciate the offer, but for my videos I will have to edit it down quite a bit anyway. I did the mission without using quicksaves so it didn't take too long, about 3 hours. (Still a long time though!). My main issue is that I don't know what parts I shouldn't edit out. I wouldn't want to remove something that Ziv can use to gauge whether I wasn't cheating.

Hey, I just completed the Jool 5 challenge, probably the second hardest things I've done in KSP, and was just wondering what would be the best way to show you my attempt. I recorded the whole thing with camtasia for a career mode series I am working on but I doubt you want to watch several hours of constant footage . I only took one single kerbal to the system and certainly didn't go for the low mass sub-challenge but could I still get the banner if I can prove it? Thanks

Hi, I got the mod a few weeks ago and have been playing with it since and loving it. However, I can't get the refinery to work (I may just be being stupid because this is my first time playing with interstellar). The options to electrolyse water and extract resources are all there but when I select one nothing happens. It still says that I can stop he process but nothing else happens. Water electrolysis is just an example, none of the options seem to work. Can someone help me out?

[24.2] Karbonite Ongoing Dev and Discussion

Those tiny parts look fantastic! I am loving how this mod is coming on. I hope that there isn't too much longer to wait until I can get my hands on them. -
[24.2] Karbonite Ongoing Dev and Discussion
hazard-ish replied to RoverDude's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
Oh dear, I've found the problem here. It was me! I must have backed upthe wrong version of KSP (version 0.24 not 0.24.2) which I used earlier which meant that things didn't work quite right. After updating KSP I've now tested everything again and it works as it should, making me feel very silly. Thank you for your time, nli2work, and offering to look through the output loge even though I wasn't very helpful. Now I can fully appreciate the mod and I must say, I love it -
[24.2] Karbonite Ongoing Dev and Discussion
hazard-ish replied to RoverDude's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
The result is the same when I am running just Karbonite and just Firespitter (or both together) and testing on both 64 bit and 32 bit didn't change anything. I have also posted my origional question on the firespitter discussion just in case. It could well be and issue with Firespitter and not Karbonite but I noticed it with whilst playing with just Karbonite originally so I posted it here first. How should I send you my output log? Would copying and pasting into Goodle Drive be ok? -
[24.2] Karbonite Ongoing Dev and Discussion
hazard-ish replied to RoverDude's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
Haha, sorry! I appreciate that what I said probably wasn't the most informative error report, I'll upload it shortly. I've tested this with and without any other mods and on both the 32 and 64 bit, too. -
[24.2] Karbonite Ongoing Dev and Discussion
hazard-ish replied to RoverDude's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
It's not really a problem that I have to recreate, it's just that the propellers always have the blurry effect around them and no noise. All other firespitter engines have the same problem. -

Can someone help me out? I installed the mod recently, I'm really enjoying it, but my turbofans don't have an animation. I have seen that they are mesnt to spin and them go blurred but my engines and always in a blurred yet ststic state even in the VAB. They also have no sound to go with them? (I domt know if they are meant to though) -
[WIP] Planet Randomizer 0.2.4 (2014-09-21)
hazard-ish replied to metaphor's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
I'll give this a try as soon as I finish stuff on my stock career mode play through, it looks great! However, I will be seriously disappointed if there is no chance that Jool could orbit Gilly -
Hello! I've only recently joined the Kerbal forums yet have been a frequent player of the game since 0.19.1. Recently, on my new career playthrough, I seem to have been getting ahead of myself. I landed on the Mun, then Minmus and as I was preparing a trip to Duna I got a contract to go to the Mun. After landing on Duna, Ike and returning I then got a contract to visit Minmus. I've been thoroughly enjoying all aspects of the update but would like to know if there is anything I can do or if I just have to launch a new vessel to complete the contract. Thanks.
