[KSP v1.1.3] Stock Bug Fix Modules (Release v1.1.3b.1 - 10 Jul 16)
Ruptga replied to Claw's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I still have overheating service bays. The first craft has a drone core next to the bay and it blows up before 15km, the other one has parts between the bay and core and it spontaneously blew up when I started physical warp at ~40km. They use procedural parts, but shouldn't require any other mods other than maybe joint reinforcement. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/mecmg8bme3lm1yc/AABRSFkfookecxFQTDXQVY2sa?dl=0 -
[KSP v1.1.3] Stock Bug Fix Modules (Release v1.1.3b.1 - 10 Jul 16)
Ruptga replied to Claw's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Could we get a fix for this? http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/126456-Overheating-RTG-s-and-batteries Basically, cargo bays aren't protecting their contents properly on reentry. It's explained better in this post in that thread. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/126456-Overheating-RTG-s-and-batteries?p=2040390&viewfull=1#post2040390 -
Does this need an update with the recent heat changes?

My problem went away when I removed KJR, so it looks like you're in the clear.

I also have a docking problem. I'm not sure if it's your mod or not, but I'm not able to undock the vehicle with my experiments and crew from my station. The vehicle carrying the experiment equipment undocked just fine, so maybe it has to do with the experiments? Either way, undocking seems to go normally except that the physical connection between vehicles isn't broken. Camera perspective changes and resources are unavailable, but trying to pull away from the station drags it with me. I'll go through my mods folder tomorrow to see if it might be someone else's problem.

[0.90] KSP Interstellar port maintance thread
Ruptga replied to Boris-Barboris's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
Those files did fix the scoops, but now I have no argon tanks. Filtering by resource shows an Argon Gas tab, but there is nothing in it and I'm not seeing any alternative argon resources listed. Going to the research center like the guy above said did fix it. That's weird. -
[0.90] KSP Interstellar port maintance thread
Ruptga replied to Boris-Barboris's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
Atmospheric scoops don't seem to do anything, they will draw power when toggled, but no resources are collected and the "toggle resource" button does nothing. It might just have to do with you switching resource systems, or it may have to do with me being confused about air intakes. There are the ones that are for intakeatm only, they exist but I can't find them in the VAB unless I view by resource, and the KSPI help page says that those need to be used instead of the stock intakes, even though stock intakes also supply intakeatm. And another resource question, are all resources generated/consumed normally on rails? I noticed with Fractal's last version that actinides would accumulate if I flew a reactor to Eve, but they wouldn't if I put it in its transfer orbit and timewarped with something else in focus, and the same was true for microwave plants I left on Kerbin. I know you've been cleaning up and fixing code, so maybe you've already gotten to that. -
[1.3] Kerbal Joint Reinforcement v3.3.3 7/24/17
Ruptga replied to ferram4's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I'm having a similar problem. I've got a 100-part station I wanted to test, but after hyperediting to orbit it would disintegrate as soon as KJR would start stabilizing physics. Removing KRJ has fixed that problem.- 2,647 replies

[0.25]KSP Interstellar (Magnetic Nozzles, ISRU Revamp) Version 0.13
Ruptga replied to Fractal_UK's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I ran into something similar a while ago and never did figure out what the problem was, but I'm not having that issue with Boris' version. Still, I have been seeing some weird stuff with waste heat even with his version. Ex: a microwave/plasma ship and a reactor ship both accumulate no waste heat, though ThermalMechanicsDisabled is set to false in the config. -

afaik, radiation was never really implemented. It shows up in tooltips, but doesn't do anything yet. -
[0.90] KSP Interstellar port maintance thread

How is selling antimatter for a ton of money a bad thing? It takes a lot of investment in funds, time, and science in order to collect significant amounts of the stuff. That seems like an acceptable tradeoff. Anyway, I'm happy to see someone taking over KSPI's maintenance, it's a great mod. -

Could we get a mod to edit this post into the OP? Fractal may not be back for a while. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/43839-0-25-KSP-Interstellar-%28Magnetic-Nozzles-ISRU-Revamp%29-Version-0-13?p=1582619&viewfull=1#post1582619 -

Fix things like the above with MM configs, like in this post and the one right after it. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/43839-0-25-KSP-Interstellar-%28Magnetic-Nozzles-ISRU-Revamp%29-Version-0-13?p=1495408&viewfull=1#post1495408 -
[0.25]KSP Interstellar (Magnetic Nozzles, ISRU Revamp) Version 0.13
Ruptga replied to Fractal_UK's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
And nothing of value was lost, whatever. Is there any word on when Fractal will be able to get back to this project? I wouldn't expect so, when real life happens there usually aren't any real timetables. -

Ruptga replied to Fractal_UK's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Sure ya did. Nobody in this thread, not even the mod developers, is getting paid for what they do, so can your passive-aggressive attitude. Nobody here owes you anything. edit: And now that I've seen the post just above this one, all I can say is wow, you sound like you have a legitimate personality disorder. Install issues are the least of your problems if you're running everything through some program that you refuse to troubleshoot because it is infallible. -
[0.25]KSP Interstellar (Magnetic Nozzles, ISRU Revamp) Version 0.13
Ruptga replied to Fractal_UK's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I tested a regular size folding radiator on a microwave powered ship and got 3.something gigawatts, which is correct. That's also what it shows in the VAB when there's no reactor attached. Attaching any reactor lowers the VAB displayed temp to 11.something MW per panel, and lowers the in-orbit dissipation to 110MW. I have no idea where that number is coming from, since it doesn't match the VAB helper, unupgraded number, or upgraded number. For now I'm fine as long as I keep my generators in atmosphere and attached to microwave transmitters, but that's obviously kinda inconvenient. Also I have tried reinstalling the mod. Edit: I went back to flying my original plasma microwave ship, and now its radiators are only dissipating 110MW as well. After some more testing, I've found that having my microwave receivers active also causes the radiators to run at 110MW, and they revert to 3.xGW as soon as the receivers are switched off. -
[0.25]KSP Interstellar (Magnetic Nozzles, ISRU Revamp) Version 0.13
Ruptga replied to Fractal_UK's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
All the radiators are registering as radiating just under 15% of their base value, though they're supposed to be improved by about 4500% by the upgrade. Has anyone had an issue like this before? edit: Other mods are editor extensions, select root, KAS, kerbal joint reinforcement, mechjeb, scansat, and tac fuel balancer. I see that KSPI includes module manager 2.5.0. Another mod I have included 2.5.1, so I deleted 2.5.0 and left 2.5.1 in. That was the right thing to do, right? Another edit: It displays the correct dissipation values as long as a reactor isn't attached to the craft. wat? -
[0.25]KSP Interstellar (Magnetic Nozzles, ISRU Revamp) Version 0.13
Ruptga replied to Fractal_UK's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Every so often I get some really weird numbers from the thermal helper, like here where a single large flat radiator is only worth 70MW for some reason. I started noticing the weird numbers when I unlocked the improved radiators, but that may just be a coincidence since this is an intermittent issue. -
I can't get the Kerbal Rocket Workshop to work at all. No option to unfold, and I can't get the UI to come up through it. I decided to test. -Orbital construction dock works fine -Removing the Ka conversion did nothing -Redownloading and reinstalling the folder did nothing -Removing everything in gamedata except EPL, squad, and NASAmission did nothing Is this some kind of deprecated part? It looks like Launch pad 2 is what I wanted, I wish I had noticed that before I shipped the other one to Mun.

[1.12.x] Freight Transport Technologies [v0.6.0]
Ruptga replied to RoverDude's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I've been having a similar problem. The large ducted fans tend to break whatever they're attached to. I just put 4 of them on a 125t payload, and they broke both an s3-7200 fuel tank and a honeybadger service module whenever the throttle went over about 50%. Replacing those 4 larges with 8 mediums attached to the service module works fine.
